Fiance & I went to Vegas last October - we got wasted every night, visited a strip club, was up till 5am, checked out women together....sure he wasn't with "the guys" which would obviously be a bit of a different trip (much like if I was with the girls), but really.....girlfriends don't have to equal a low-key time

If you can't bring your girlfriend/wife with you to Vegas and have a great time, then you're with the wrong girl, IMO. Some of the best times of my life have been in Vegas with my wife and friends we travel with quite a bit. And nothing about my itinerary changes because she's with me. If you can't bring your girlfriend/wife with you to Vegas and have a great time, then you're with the wrong girl, IMO. Some of the best times of my life have been in Vegas with my wife and friends we travel with quite a bit. And nothing about my itinerary changes because she's with me. I've had the best time in vegas wit my girlfriend. If you can't go to vegas wit ur significant other and have fun then maybe your with the wrong one. And if you have the BEST "sand" then you could take it to any beach. Just saying...

I've been to Vegas with my BF only once, but we had a great time. My itinerary did change, but that's because he and I are into different things. He isn't really into the whole drinking/partying/clubbing scene while I am. When we go together we are obviously going to respect each other's wishes so we compromise and go to more lounges, see more shows, gamble a little, go to nice dinners, etc. Plus, it was his first time in Vegas so we did a lot of tourist-type things. We are probably going in September with a group of people. He knows that I'm going to be going to clubs and while he may not want to come, or may only come for a little while, he isn't going to stop me from going out. The great thing about a group is you can spilt into smaller groups based on what everyone wants to do. To be honest, I think once he has a couple of drinks (and I mean a couple since he rarely drinks at home) he'll be more willing to give it a shot and go out with the group. Even if I am wrong and he doesn't want to come out, he knows he can trust me and we can go out and do our own things without worrying.

True but I like having a gf that isn't as much of a party animal as me. It would be a problem if she got down like I do in Vegas. I like the balance she brings to the relationship. She enjoys partying and I could have a good time with her and some other couples doing bottles BUT it could never top the guys trips.

Also the ability to have a great time with my gf in Vegas going the crazy route isn't high on my list of qualities. It's not a big deal that she doesn't like strip clubs and doesn't party as much as me, I just go with my boys

My sand is great but there is always the temptation of even better sand, not sand you want to keep and bring home, just sand you play in.

I went to Vegas for the first time for a Bachelor party and swore I would NEVER go to Vegas with a significant other. Well a year later, my gf talked me into going with her and we had an AMAZING time! Still partied hard, hit the pool parties, clubs, and gambled. Some of the best memories were made that weekend and we plan on making the trip at least once a year!

I guess it might be a difference between wife and gf because the first time I brought my wife to vegas and the first time she's ever been to vegas was for MayAOD 2011. She had a blast and got just about as drunk as I did. Plus, when I passed out, who was there to make sure I got the appropriate medical attention.

Honestly next time we go we're going to stay a little longer so we can actually do some of the touristy stuff as well as party at night and get drunk. As someone else stated, it's all about bringing the right girl. Plus she's down with the multipliers which is a win/win for me.
