Clarification on tipping

Had bottle service a couple times last weekend. I try to be generous but just find the process somewhat vague and confusing. I'd appreciate knowing how any of you handle what appears to be the typical situation...
Both times I talked to one person to set it up. They told me I would be dealing with another person once I got there. I briefly met that person and he handed me off to the person that took us to our table.
If our minimum spend was $3K who should have gotten how much and when should I have tipped them? Also, for decent service by the waitress - nothing out of the ordinary but good, how much additionally would you tip her through the evening? Finally, how much would you have tipped the busser?

Most host are in a tip pool, so it doesnt matter which host you hand the money to. I usually tip the host that makes the reso, or in your case the one who met me at the ropes.

do you really tip the busser $100? i hear everyone on here talk about tipping them, but when i slip them a $20 they always seem surprised.. like it's something out of the ordinary. it's alsys been just my girl and i so maybe they just don't expect it from a party of 2...

Don't forget security. I like to give them some love too. $50-$100. Spaced out through the night.

The host who sets you up should get the tip. $75-100 per bottle ($475 is the bottle average). Every time I've done bottle service gratuity for the waitress has been included. 20% though is to start and go up from there. When it comes to tipping security and the runners, my rule has always been tip based on your service. Good service deserves a tip, poor service does not.
