I initially joined JC because I wanted to get some tips before my Vegas trip last month (which I did, thanks!), but I still find myself reading threads everyday. I think it's because I love the Vegas vibe so much that even when I can't be there, it's nice to read about other people having a great time there and even vicariously planning trips with people (that's half the fun right?).
Anyway, I'm sitting here listening to Down by Jay Sean (somehow I'm not sick of it yet) and trying to get pumped for a night out at one of the not-Vegas clubs here in Baltimore tonight. But the only thing I can think about is how much fun I had that one time at Tao with a bottle in my hand and just taking in the spectacle that is Vegas. That on top of the world feeling you get when you party like a big boy (even if it's only for a few days a year) and everybody around you is out to have a good time.
The problem I have is trying to relive that feeling at home when, outside of your friends, everybody is just waiting to tell the person next to them how much "this place sucks." I usually have fun with my friends, but I find myself missing the "everybody is your friend and we're all having fun together" vibe that I get in Vegas. Anybody else have that problem when they get home from Vegas? Maybe I'm doing home wrong!
Oh well, just wanted to vent a little to fellow Vegas heads!
