  • fun steakhouse at wynncore?

    hey guys,

staying at encore next month and know they have a ton of steakhouses. i've been to n9ne which i really liked and stk which i thought was OK. are there are any steakhouses at wynncore with a similar good vibe/scene as n9ne or is it an older crowd? if not, i'll probably just pick the one with the highest rated food (which i think is SW).

    thanks

SW is amazing the best steak I've ever had and it's not that bad in terms of price. But it is more of a nice setting but it does get really loud in there I remember me adn my gf had to talk pretty loud to hear each other.

I think in Encore there's switch where the room changes colour or the walls change design....something like that and it's supposed to have pretty awesome food too

If it's at all possible, get to SW early and request a table on the patio. There are these really bizarre shows on the lake that start at 8pm (or 9pm?) that are free and add to the overall experience.

I'll agree sw is good, but it's really not the vibe he's asking for. Like I said I'd recommend botero (it right next to xs.. Doesn't look like much from outside) lakeside grill is also an option (they have a dj too) but last time I was there I'm pretty sure I got sick from an undercooked smoked prime rib steak so even though everyone else enjoyed it and it was good going down, I'm in no hurry to go back

Last time I ate at SW it was awesome, but I would definitely say it doesn't qualify as a "fun" steakhouse. Though, +1 for the bizarre patio show.

If you end up wanting to do N9NE at any point during your visit let me know and i'd be happy to set it up and try to stop by and say hello, send some dessert , etc.

For what you're looking for, you have three options...

                  1. Botero
                  2. Botero
                  3. Botero

                  Have fun!

Can someone hip me to the real deal on corkage fees in Vegas? Last I heard, it was illegal in Vegas. http://www.eatinglv.com/2009/06/corkage-fees-update/

But I have also seen people mention it on yelp.

"5) Clark County (i.e. The Strip and all locations south of Sahara Boulevard), couldn’t care less, and has no corkage/anti-corkage policy on its books or in its gun sights."

This came from the article you included. I have been in constant contact with a guy from Encore concierge and he has been very open about the corkage fee's and prices. I work for a wine shop and there is absolutely no reason for me to go pay 3x the bottle price when I get wine at cost. So I'm goin with the corkage fee given.
