  • Mid-Week Pool Parties / Hard Rock

My girlfriend and I are going to be in Las Vegas next week Tuesday through Friday. We are contemplating staying at the Hard Rock in a Pool Suite. We are not looking for mild, we are looking for wild! My girlfriend loves attention from late 20's, early 30's males. That is why we are consideing a large suite so that we can entertain.

    1) Anyone familiar with the pool suites? Does it allow us to return to our own suite for drinks and then return to pool area? Do I still have to pay to get a chair around the pool.

    2) Is the pool scene at HRH at least exciting on a Wednesday or Thursday (we leave Friday morning)?

    3) If not the Hard Rock, where?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Not too familiar with the pool suites. I have been to HRH pool on Weds/Thurs. Theres not much going on. Just a pool with music. On a Thursday I would much rather be at Liquid or Tao Beach.

The pool scene midweek at Hard Rock is like that of any other hotel pool. While I think that the HRH pool is one of the nicer pool areas as far as the atmosphere and setting, if you are looking to party, then midweek at the Hard Rock isn't what you're looking for. Liquid on a Thursday is a better bet for you, but next time you're in town over a weekend, I'd be happy to take care of you at the Hard Rock

Thanks for the replies. Does staying at Aria get me any breaks on access for Liquid on Thursday or discounts on daybeds/chairs?

I'm surprised that someone who represents venues at the Hard Rock would send you to Aria, but I guess you gotta admire his honesty if that's what he sees and how he feels. I can tell you this... I was there (Hard Rock) a couple weeks ago Tues.-Sat and even though it was windy and low to mid 70's (cold by Vegas standards) there were plenty of 20-30 yo's in the various pool areas. Friday had a DJ all afternoon and there was a good crowd.

I always stay in the HRH tower and have seen the outsides of the Pool-Suites in the Paradise Tower and they look great. Nice terrace-area right out to the pool area on that side and each one of them had people laying' out and standin' around when I was there. Have read good reviews about the rooms on Yelp.

I predisposed to the Hard Rock and though I've stayed at almost all of the major Vegas properties over the years, have not done Aria yet... mainly cause I've settled on the Hard Rock.

Thanks for the reply. I remain leaning towards HR and let the chips fall where they may!

While I do work for Hard Rock, I also know that if I were to deceive someone, I would then lose their business for all times in the future, as well as have that person tell everyone they know that I was not forthright and only trying to earn a quick dollar by booking them for something that they didn't really want. If you come on a weekend, Friday through Monday, then the Rehab pool is open and there are always DJ's and events going on, but as you are leaving Friday morning, that wasn't an option. The Hard Rock West Pool is still a beautiful pool, and it has the clientele that the Hard Rock draws (20 and 30 somethings), but if you are looking for a full on daylife party, then I just think that Liquid on a Thursday would be a better bet. I still think that you'd have a good time at the hard rock, and if you choose to stay there, I'm sure you'll have fun.

I actually had a chill out day at the HRH Pool on a Thursday and had tons of fun just mingling with the crowd staying at HRH. It does attract lots of attractive 20-30 yr olds.

I went ahead and booked a pool villa at HR. If we feel the need for more crowds, we can always head over to Liquid for the day on Thursday. From what I was told, the occupancy for HR will be in the 60-70% range for Wed/Thurs so hopefully there will be some lucky males that will get hit on by the blonde bombshell!

Now we have to plan our evenings! I have been asked to limit our strip club nights to just one of the three with the other two needing to be dance clubs. Any suggestions on locations/hosts appreciated!
