So I know it may be a bit early, but did anyone go this past weekend? Thoughts and opinions? How was the crowd? From the pictures it looks very nice, but the pool looked extremely small compared to the rest of the property.

I went to the day party at nikki on friday. It was a solid crowd and I had a blast. Cheap drinks too (a beer was 6 bucks). I'm not sure how it will hold up in the future but the opener was really good.

$6 for a beer at a Pool Party. Pretty good. How was the size of the pool compared to the rest of the property? What were regular drinks going for?

I actually stuck to beer so I couldn't tell you how much a mixed drink was. The pool is pretty small. In fact the whole area arond the pool is pretty small. It had like 3 levels, a level with a bunch of tables, then down a few steps and there was a level where the bar is and a couple steps down from that to go to the pool and thats where the daybeds and stuff were.

We were quoted $400 for a table but I passed when I saw the beers were only 6 bucks. We all got pretty drunk and the final tab was 160 for 3.

Despite its small size it was a real good scene and the talent there was really solid. However, like I said before I'm a little nervous that it may fall off since this was the opening. A lot of people I talked to throughout the weekend said they didn't go to nikki because "it is still the trop." It would be a shame if this party didn't keep going strong though cuz I had a blast. Also we did not get charged a cover (cuz we were staying in the trop i think).

I'll report back after next weekend. I've been to Nikki Beach in Cabo and South Beach and want to check out this new Vegas version.

                          My take on Nikki:

Club Nikki (night spot) might take a minute to catch on- but they did a great job with it. It's beautiful and gigantic.

Nikki Beach seems to be starting out pretty slow (relative to what they will be doing)- but up until this point they haven't had a promotions team. I am told they're about to hire 50 promotions people so that will get a nice filler crowd in there.

The property is awesome- looks great, feels great. Their host staff knows what's up; many of them came from long tenure at Palms . The pool *is* small (it's the original trop pool). The tipi's are awesome. They come with a huge TV, Wii, daybed outside (i believe) and great location.

They need to work on their food menu and service staff. I think they just had a provisional menu at the time I visited. I look forward to seeing their finalized poolside menu.

The Nikki Beach valet is the nuts. Get to it off Trop, just past LVB.

And once people realize how ridiculously nice the new Trop rooms are, it's on. They're still super cheap because nobody knows- I would definitely recommend checking them out. And book them through a Nikki Beach host, they'll take care of it and get a little kickback.

All in all I think it's only a matter of time for Nikki Beach- they have an awesome spot, the right idea and the right people to make it successful.

                          I can personally recommend:
                          Carolyn Corrado: [email protected]
                          Kyle Harrison: [email protected]

Both rock. Tell them Philip host from Palms says "what's up"

+1 on the trop rooms. Stayed in the penthouse loft for may invasion and it was AWESOME especially for the money.

Yeah the rooms... Hell the whole hotel is really stepped it up. I'd almost put it up there with mb. Staff is some of best I've dealt with all around. The valet was calling me cobra guy... 2 of the craps dealers knew us by name, the maid brought my gf extra stuff...

It's my new place. I'm tired of the big places that are just big...and nothing else. The $$$ places treat me like a flee...
