Not knocking on Jr hosts since everyone needs to start somewhere and maybe Nick is a standup guy, but prefer to use someone more senior.

Either way, I'd call the management group and lodge an official complaint with them so at least they know this cat is acting shady and costing them business.

Many times, because of the sheer volume of people in and out of the club, management doesn't properly hear about the nefarious activity. In this case, they should because the host isn't just hurting his own reputation. He's now cost the club about four potential table purchasers.

Probably the same guy yes. I am still bothered by the fact he did not get me the right quote in the first place and could not pull the right strings once we needed his help but the fault of being a jackass and demanding we up our bottle count to get in was not the fault of Nick Baker. I have heard about people getting bumped on huge weekends at places like XS but the host spoke with his clients ahead of time and at least assisted in working out other options. I found out our fate literally at around 11 PM the busiest weekend of the year. Good luck trying to put me anywhere with a decent location that late without dropping 6k+.

I wish I would have asked for the doorman's name but he and about two others I spoke with were extremely rude and abrupt and the main reason I won't bring any business back to this venue.

The funny thing is that the one time I went to the Bank I had an opposite experience. Group was 3 guys, 4 girls, all african-american and a few of the girls felt the Bank staff was rude and racist. Line was majority white

Yes im a host but i personally believe you can have a great time at any club or pool if your with the right people and your with the right host. There are times where things change on the fly but a good host will be upfront and honest and will do everything in his power to get it resolved. If you have dealt with a host and he took very good care of you at his venue have him be your host for all of Vegas. He/She should have no problems or issues booking you at any property and nights/days they have off should be walking you in to assure you have a great time and you dont always have to tip them. That is your choice. I have some clients that try to tip me and i refuse just for the fact that they come to Vegas all the time and the refer so much business to me. If you trust one host at a club you love he will put you with the right people and in the right hands at other clubs

We were at the Bank for mAyOD this year and, truth is it's a very small club geared almost entirely for tables.

Now the music was OK and we found a nice spot along the top level across from the DJ. But they had this annoying little shit with a flashlight checking for empty drinks every 2 minutes. He was rude and pushed people out of the way so he could check the bar. Twice my wife bought shots for me, set them down and he took them and ran off. Annoying little fucker.

The Bank seems like one of those clubs that figures if they keep acting like an elite club maybe people will believe it. Right now it felt like LAX just in a better hotel location. I'll take XS, Tryst, Tao, Jet, Lavo, etc over Bank.
