Nightclubs in Vegas need to be careful. All things business run in trends and cycles and a easy way to kill your trend is to start with poor customer service , specially when nightclubs can be so profitable. All in time it may not be so chic to come out the pocket thousands of dollars and not feel like a VIP. And when it's not people will get crushed....

Sorry to hear you had issues. :-(

As others have mentioned, you have to be extremely careful booking through Junior Hosts / Promoters under any typically difficult-to-book situation: large groups of guys and / or on holiday weekends.

They have the least pull to make reservations stick and are in no position to be offering any sort of deals on busy weekends, especially to a large group of gents.

People booking at The Bank should go through Norman Ly or, our suggested host, Christian Guiterrez.

The forum is here to share your experience with others in the JC community.

You should never feel like voicing your experience or opinion is a bad thing. The community will use your input along with others and form their own opinion. The bad apples will quickly surface as we are a very active and opinionated community

Sorry things didn't work out, but thanks for sharing. (when in doubt of a deal, you should post here and ask us if we think its legit and/or get the community's input )

Didn't know he was a promoter, pitched himself previously as actual host. No worries - what's done is done. I've agreed with and stated myself in other posts, its Vegas - money talks. The way in which the situation was handled altogether however was totally uncalled for in my opinion. People can say "Sorry..." without saying "Go F* yourself" and physically pulling a guy out of line (a friend of mine on his first trip to Vegas who had zero idea what was going on).

Of note, I did not get his last name but the hosts name at Haze was 'Bennie'. He not only talked to me straight, he offered to help me out immensely both Saturday night and Sunday night. I went and gave him a little tip after the fact even though we didn't go to Haze just for keeping it real. I always respect a good host.

I'm glad you boys had fun and made the best out of a crappy situation. Too many people are trying to get in on the nightclub business in Vegas you have to be careful who you do business with.

Yes he worked for Bank directly, which honestly is why I was so concerned when speaking to the host at Haze (same ownership company).

The part that hurt my heart and stomach the most? Got in touch with Patrick Frank again after the fact Saturday night only to learn that our original plan for 4-5 bottles and a handshake would have gotten us a dance floor table had we arrived early enough. All tables were filled up after things hit the fan at Bank.
Don't let your stomach hurt to bad, because I'd say PF was BSing you too. No way he was pulling that off MDW sat night at XS.

Just realized you might of been talking about Tryst. If so, I retract my statement.

Man, I was thinking the Bank was gonna be my spot for my upcoming Sunday. But I dont endorse treating everyday people foul. I hate when a deal is made and then at "go" time, things magically change. People need to not make blind promises. Unfortunately, word is NOT always BOND when it comes to this industry.

Thankfully I'm using Christian this Sunday so hopefully shouldn't have any issues. But yeah, that blows man. I'd have been skeptical about any deals given MDW but in hindsight that's easy to say.

Wow man, that is some crappy situation, sorry you had to experience that. And to be honestly you are not the first one mentioning how BS can get shady @ Bank. I read several reviews like yours were either people were screwed at the door or they were forced to buy more bottles to keep their tables etc.. I guess you really have to work with right person for the Bank.

This thread shows again, work with hosts provided by JC and mentioned by forum members over and over again. They are usually senior hosts and has more pull at these clubs.

And I was there this weekend too, i never seen Vegas this packed, everywhere was shit show, if I didn't have my pre-sale tickets to places I would've go crazy, even if I had bottle service.

I can't believe this happened to you. I have always been treated well at The Bank. I will continue to go there, but it's good to know who to avoid in case I come across him in the future. I think it's all about getting a good reliable host, with the most seniority possible.
