As far as Tryst/Pure/LAX/Vanity/XS are concerned, they seem to not care all that much, as long as it resembles some sort of black/darkness.

At Marquee I have seen general admin walk in no probs with black chucks. At Tao, I would not take the chance.

Never had a problem getting in not wearing dress shoes. My creative recs worked easy, and i forgot what KrewChas was rocking but he didnt get any shit either. Oh and Cisco rocked chucks, grey ones too.

They wouldnt let my boy into Tao (with a table) with white shoes. $50 grease got him in. Beware at Tao. 3 other guys in my party with T shirts were not let in and had to go back and get collared shirts.
