Anyone wear flannels instead of dress shirts?

This weekend I'm thinking of spicing things up a bit and maybe wear one of my long sleeve flannels.

I have these two (not exactly the same, but very similar):

both are relatively thick (thicker than your normal dress shirts for sure)

I'm just tired of wearing my same old purple/black/blue plain shirts all the time..What do you guys think of those?

Ummm, the first thing I thought of was Blood In Bloow Out. Button up the top two buttons and leave the other ones unbottoned and you'll get right into the club.

You'll be fine, anything with a collar is fine. You'll sweat during the summer though.

If you are tired of plain shirts why don't you try plaid shirts which won't be as thick as flannel but can have a similar look

I think the flannel would definitely stand out. I probably wouldn't do it, but I'm from the east coast so anytime I'm lucky enough to be in Vegas I don't want to waste a night feeling uncomfortable because I stand out TOO much. I usually stick with the crowd as far as dress style i.e. plain shirt.

Maybe you should go out of your comfort zone with a bright color or something? Or just try the flannel and see what happens! At least you can learn from experience.

those flannels might play better on east fremont, or at carnival court, margaritaville, etc.

I've turned in the black button up shirts for madras shirts, a little more casual and colorful. Not thick as flannel, but the same patterns for the most part. Anyways, long story short, I definitely wasn't the only one out at night wearing them wearing them last time I was in town. In my group alone there were at least 4 or 5 of us....so you'll be fine.

I think flannel would be a good conversation starter. Girls.word walk up to you by the dozens and ask, "hey... why are you sweating?... You haven't even got in yet."

But I can say... a short sleeve plaid shirt and buff arms are a win situation.

I've rocked flannel's before but yeah it was in winter, is skip it for summer
