So I'm sure there is probably a thread out there for this but I haven't seen a specific one.. What are your options near the strip for buying bottles for the room? Walgreens? Will everything be way more expensive on the strip? I know it sounds funny to worry about spending 70 on a 50 dollar bottle when I'll spend $475 for BS ...But being a newbie I thought I would ask what you guys do to get your pregame drinks? So do you check a bag with it and travel? Or just suck it up and buy it on the strip? Is there a store worth stopping between the strip and the airport?

I don't think a Walgreen's will take you that bad. Everyone is buying from the same distributors. I may be wrong though...In Reno prices are all competitive not counting the casinos.

There is one on South Las Vegas Blvd past the outlets that is amazing. We had bought so many bottles that we didn't finish them all before the end of our trip!

Can some post some typical prices for me from the stores as I will be coming from England and will be helpful in me deciding on if the best option is purchasing at the Duty free store in the airport or waiting until were in Vegas.

Vodka (Absolut / russian standard and belverdere / grey goose)
                  Jagermiester
                  Red Bull
                  Beer: Coors light / budweiser

This is from Von's grocery store in Vegas (they deliver to your hotel) based on their website and for 750ml size bottles. Of course prices vary depending on where you go but this should be a good point for comparison:

                    Grey Goose - $26.99
                    Absolut - $15.99
                    Jager - $16.99
                    Red Bull (12 pack) - $25.29, (4 pack) $5.99
                    Coors/Bud (24 pack) - $16.99

                    Hope this helps!

I went to the ABC store in Fashion Show Mall (stayed at Treasure Island, it was right across the street.)

We got a handle (1.75 liter) of Captain and a handle of Svedka Vodka for like $26-$28 each. Fifths of Ciroq were $32 I think, but I'm not positive.
                      Next Trip: October 28-31, 2016

                          ^^Great prices^^

Like I said in an earlier post and with the exception of the casino's and resorts, prices should be fairly competitive. Every store has to buy from a distributor.

I wonder why those prices are so cheap, then I realized its 750ML. We drink by the handles
