- I realized you gotta be really rich to have fun in a nightclub in Las Vegas (knowing it before hand doesn't make you realize it);

- I made such a deal about getting the mAyOD wristbands and the only places I went to were King Ink and The Bank because of the previous reason stated above;

- Staying a whole week in Las Vegas is draining and because I love just being a "tourist" that leaves me less energy to go out at night;

- Although I briefly met some of you, I would have loved to get you know more. And there are lots of you that I didn't evenget the chance to say hi;

- If I had had a nicer body I would have gone to the pool parties but in Vegas, girls are so perfect (ain't talking about the obese rednecks here) that it's a shame for normal girls to show up in a bikini at a pool especially when you know people;

- I wish I had said my goodbyes to ashtroid who's been the so sweet to me. I had to said it publicly.

So... AOD... I'm sorry if you feel I had given up on you. If I ever get rich enough to not having to stay up on my fucking heels all night and do table service, then maybe in the future, I will follow you again even though I'm afraid I'll be too old by then.

FCG - sorry you felt that way! I think there were quite a few people that did Vegas cost-effectively, with pre-games in rooms with other AODers and making the most of open bars (both Thursday events & Monday night event). Even more so for girls - since to be honest, girls run the town.

Sorry you felt that way. You should've come out to more places though, like wat said we had open bars on Thursday and believe me AOD is not judging anybody, come out as who you are and if you had a tight budget no problems, believe me you could've still got really drunk.

I'm sorry you felt you had to have money or a perfect body. I don't have either but AOD is like a family (a crazy dysfunctional family at times but a family non the less) we take care of each other and just like to have a good time. My husband and I offered our room to two members so they could stay another night to have a good time.

We all take our moments to just be a tourist at times.....it is a vacation after all.

And last but not least If I could only show you my bandaged up feet from my heels. My god they hurt! I consider them badges of honor after all we are an Army of Drinkers.

+1, most people used this trip as the budget trip! For people arriving late, a couple txts to various people in the group would have gotten you in relatively easy AND at most places someone got a table that was welcome for girls to sit at. Examples- I got to Tao around midnight- got in within minutes through help of AODers. XS on Friday night - A few people showed up late and got in. Some of us got a really nice daybed and table that was the base for most of the AODers to hang out at and rest their feet at. Similar each night.

im sad b/c i went to the hospital after Liquid and have no clue how I got there although there is talk of getting in a cab and saying take me to 911 so thats what we're goin with.

No honestly im sad to be home and that I won't get to see some of you for another year and some of you I may never see again!

-I'm sad because I ended up at Spring Valley and because of that me and the wife missed "KA" which she was really looking forward to.

-Sad because I didn't get to enjoy myself too much because of what happened that Friday.

-Sad I missed out on XS because of that Friday.

-But ultimately, I met some amazing people who I definitely enjoyed hanging out with and i'm sad that we won't get to party again until next May.

OH FCG! I am well into my 40's and still went to the pool (only made 1 JC pool event though and it was short lived) I agree it is very hard to be in that mix with the 20 year olds with perfect bodies. It comes with time, but eventually you develop a "I don't give a Rats Ass--if you don't like it, don't look at me". I agree on the shoes....my feet are going to hurt for another week!
I am sad because I didn't get to actually meet and party with more of the JC-ers! It was nice to meet and put faces with names on some though! I am also sad because I really think I have to admit I'm getting too old to do that much partying over that many days! (BAM)

But back to the subject, I wouldnt let money stop you from having a good time. I don't tend to have buckets of endless cash when I come and am already starting to save for next years extravaganza. And sure, there are really hot women in Vegas but have you seen some of what comes as well? Yikes!

I was with you FCG about the money issues and feeling cash strapped for AOD. That is the reason I bailed because I didn't have the funds I wanted, and after checking the stories and people's FB, I am pissed at myself I just didn't say screw it and go down. I coulda probably made it work cheap. Just gotta be creative.

The time is what you make of it. From what I can tell AODers are all about awesome fun people and no one gonna care if you have the "perfect" bikini body or not. As long as you are kool and fun that is all that matters. AOD seems to be about the biggest mixture of cultures and diverse people all getting along for fun and good times and to me that is awesome.
