Marquee Day & Night

Hi all. I'll be in vegas next weekend with a group of 10 guys. The last time we all went to vegas together (about 6 months ago) we went to XS friday night and Wet Republic Saturday. This upcoming trip we're booked at Marquee Friday night and Marquee dayclub saturday. How will this compare? My biggest concern is that this group isn't into house music..so are we making a mistake going to Marquee? We prefer hip hop / dance. Any comparisons would be helpful...both for the nightclub and the day party.

During the day I believe they play a good amount of mainstream house. They dont exactly change it up to hard house, some trance and other variations like Wet Republic so they should be ok there.

During the evening they always have the option of hanging at the boombox room.. or the library, I believe one of them plays hip hop only.

boombox is hip hop and r&b only.

During the day just ignore the music and focus on the bikinis

I have read that the boombox room gets crowded out quite quickly though. It's kindnobput me off from getting a table there aswell as the fact it's gonna cost too much (2.5k plus 40% for tips, taxes plus host tip)!

you'll be fine there day and night. its vegas and all genres of music sounds good there. don't even sweat it..

It gets crowded but the way the room is set up is that the crowd doesn't spill over into the table section. Crowded = more girls = more opportunities to save girls from the crowd by inviting them to your table.

2.5K isn't cheap but you also have 10 guys. With 10 guys you could easily go through 5 or 6 bottles especially if you invite any girls to your table and that would put you right in that 2.5K range anyway

The music and the scene will be sick.. And the people that you will be with will ensure a good time. Why are you spending so much time on this? It's VEGAS... Stop being a 13 year old girl!!

I'd stay with Marquee on Friday night just for the fact it's the "IT" club right now. You won't be disappointed. Boom Box played all hip hop, and Library played a mix. Plus earlier on when I was there they played some hip hop before the switch over to house. Maybe go to Wet again on Saturday. Never had a bad time there on Saturday. Marquee Day Club is small compared to Wet. About Tao Beach size. I had a good time there but I think you might get Marquee overload.

Thanks for the good info. So you don't think Marquee Day Club compares to Wet Republic? I thought Wet was absolutely insane when i was there a year ago...and i booked Marquee day club with the expectation that it would be as good or better. Do you think that's a bad move? Thanks for the guidance.
