Bachelor party...vip host company vs. doing it myself

Hey everyone-

I need your advice ASAP! MY best bud is having his bachelor party in 3 weeks and there will be 8-10 of us. Obviously for the bachelor party night we are going to get a table at a club (we were thinking Tryst). Now I've spoken to several VIP hosting companies and they are charging around $250 - $275 per person for three bottles (includes all tips gratuities, entry fees, hosting processing fees etc). So, I subsequently called the club and they said they charge $425 or more per bottle and we needed to get at least 3 for our party plus any tips. So, would it just be better if I contacted a VIP Host at the club? It just seems cheaper to me. Any advice I'd appreciate!!

lets say its 450 a bottle and you have to get 3. add a 20% gratuity and lets say 100 dollar tip for your host. that comes out to 215 dollars a person if there is 8 of you, less if there is 10 of you. and now you have guaranteed admittance from a person that actually works there. i have heard some horror stories from outside vip hosting companies, and i personally would never use one, although there are a couple good ones. nonetheless, i would still go thru the club itself. tryst is my personal favorite club in vegas, and i can definitly get you in touch with, who in my opinion is the best host ive had in vegas...and ive had quite a few. shoot me an email at [email protected] and i can give you his info. not sure if he'd want me posting it here.

Going through a seperate VIP host may be your best bet. Especially for a bachelor party.

There are a few of them out there. Theres one company that has been featured on Travel Channel as well as a few articles on MSN that is pretty good. I've gone through them once. They have packages that include limo service, a gentlemans club as well as entry into other clubs (like Tao, Prive, etc). If you're interested, I can give you the info of the guy I know. He's a fast talker but overall a good guy.
