Headed to Vegas for a bachelor party with 7-8 guys on June 23rd-26th which is also EDC weekend. Plan on getting some doing tables during the day (Fri, Sat, Sun), and possibly one night. Don't want to break the bank in any case. Not to say we don't want to spend money but last year we were doing some high minimums during the day and night and it really added up. So we may downgrade from Cabanas to daybeds and will settle for a non prime location on a bottle at night even if it saves some money. We all prefer the daylife to the nightlife, and would rather spend more money on a F&B minimum as opposed to just bottles. Here's our tentative schedule with some questions. Any feedback is appreciated.
Thurs Night (LATE!) - Comme Ca @ Cosmo (1/2 off drinks/menu)
Fri Day - Tao Beach, Marquee Day Club, Ditch, or Liquid?
Fri Night - Marquee (Chuckie - advance tickets)
Sat Day - Wet Repbulic
Sat Night - Palms (wristbands)
Sun Day - Encore Beach Club
Sun Night - Xs or Lavo
So some questions. Do you think with it being EDC weekend that a lot of DJ's are going to be doing some gigs that weekend? I know EC Twins are at Tao Beach on Saturday but was really set on Wet. What's the scene like on Wet on Fridays? I'm kind of holding out a bit to see if Marquee Day Club will have anyone on that Friday. So far nothing on there site.
With the Palms wristbands. I haven't seen the open bar package on their website, and in the past I have. Do you need to get this through a host now?
Sunday Night - This may be the one night we do bottle service. Lavo is great on Sundays but smaller. Which would you go with my size group of guys?
Was thinking of maybe doing the Tao, Tao Beach, Lavo wristbands. Any chance if we do we will still be able to get them at Tao thursday night at 12:30 at night?
Plan on sending PM's to Donnie and Mikey T. I've noticed Thomas hasn't been posting on these boards lately. Anyone have another contact for Wet just incase I don't hear back from him. Also a contact for Xs?
