Pool charges question

Hi,

I am a vegas newbie and was wondering if there is a cover charge to get into hotel pools, or do you have to be a guest of the hotel to use them?

If there is a charge, how much is it roughly?

I dont know pool parties.. but i do know there are some guest lists. On major holidays there probably isnt guest lists. yes there is a charge to get into certain pools. The most popular ones are definitely going to have a charge. I wouldnt know the charge though.

Generally speaking, you must be a guest of the hotel to use the hotel pool - they will check for a room key etc. at the pool entrance.

Many hotels have adults only pools (Wet Republic, Liquid, Tao Beach, Bare, Moorea Beach, Nikki Beach etc.) that are open to anyone, but typically require a cover charge (sometimes it's waived for ladies).

Some pools have special events (Rehab on Sunday at Hard Rock) where they open to anyone, not just hotel guests, but again, a cover charge will apply.

The average cover charge for entrance to one of the adult pools seems to be around $50 for men and $20 for women. This can vary significantly depending on the weekend, capacity, popularity of the venue, who is DJing, and time of day that you arrive.

IME, the cover is absolutely worth it for these pools. The crowd tends to be younger, better looking, and everyone is there to have a good time. It's also adults only, so there won't be kids around, and the door staff often use good judgment in keeping out obvious dirtbag old men that show up by themselves just to creep on the younger girls.
