    Here's the deal!
Bring the wife to Vegas this time in July. Going to be a different trip than usual. Lots of walking around, seeing shows, spa, and hanging by the pool. I currently have 2 nights comped at the Flamingo. Not my favorite place but I thought the pool (now being adult only) will be a good place for us to hang during the day. We then will tranfer to the Mandalay Bay for a couple nights. My first thought was the killer wave pool and lazy river will be fun but if it is full of kids in July maybe not so. don't get me wrong, we love kids, we have 3, we just don't need a constant reminder of us leaving our kids back home. Moorea kind of sounds too quiet.
Thinking about switching those 2 nights to another resort. Hard Rock maybe? Rehab is probably too much for us.
So those older couples with kids on here, is Mandalay Beach fun even with all the kids running around? Is Moorea fun or too quiet?

I'm not older, but if you want a nicer place stay at Encore or one of the City Center hotels (heard great things about Aria). Both will have less kids running around, and both have great pools that are a little more exciting than Moorea from what I've heard.

We stayed at Mandalay Bay this weekend and I found that the pool was mostly adults. There were some kids yes but they didnt seem to be the majority at all. I dont know if things change later in the summer. I dont have any knowledge or experience with the Hard Rock pool.

I have a child and well and when I am in Vegas I don't want to be surrounded by the reminder, so I feel your pain. The wife and I stayed at MB a couple summers ago and found that it was packed with Children in the summer to the point where we didn't want to use the wave pool or river. We went to Morrea (don't think it exists any more) and then pool parties because of it.

On the otherhand, the hard rock pool gets crazy on Saturday and obviously Sunday with Rehab, but they do have the beach club pool if you are looking for a chill scene without kids.

          Just my two cents.

See if you can upgrade to THE HOTEL @ MB when you get there... you wont usually see kids in this part of the hotel....plus its nicer

              With wife, Mandalay Bay.

              Without, Hard Rock.

And yeah, they have a tendency to upgrade folks from Mandalay Bay to TheHotel if you give 'em a decent upgrade sandwich at check-in.

Palms has no kids either and is mellower on Sunday's vs. Hr. Wherever you go when booking and checking in tell them it your anniversary and they may bump you up.
