A bunch of people have reported getting an upgrade to a high-floor room in the Venetian tower. Others have reported being upgraded to a room with a view in the Palazzo.
All of the rooms at Venetian/Palazzo are pretty big, so the big "win" would be if they waive your $17/day resort fee and give you a view on a high floor.Vegas Trips to-date:

its Vegas.. take the gamble. One good way i think you can increase your chances is check their website the day before you leave. Try to book the room you are hoping to get and upgrade to. If the room is sold out.. then most likely there is no room for an upgrade. However if its bookable that means theres some available. Their Online room reservation may be a bit different then calling in person so you can still try if the rooms are all booked cuz im sure they like to reserve a few rooms incase someone special rolls thru.Originally posted by naterizzle View PostHas anybody been upgraded from a Bella to Rialto with the sandwich? I was just at the Palazzo and had a view of the back of the property (i.e. the Wynn Golf Course). Great view, and I actually preferred it over the Strip View.Vegas Trips to-date:

our last trip we stayed at the Venetian. We did get an upgrade and it was at the Venezia Tower .. the guy told us it was quieter. well he was right.. too quiet... and the furniture was a bit more classic. We actually requested to get moved back to the Venetian.
Venezia Tower is great if you want some alone quite time with your special person. The party is at the Venetian... you can hear it as you walk down the halls.
in our new room we had a good view of the Pool.. too bad it was windy as F*** that people left.
