How does this work in terms of where you can hang out/sit? Are you given a towel and you just sit on the ground by the pool or what?

The guestlist just gets in you in. You sit/hangout where everyone else does. Yes thats usually on the ground or in the water and towels are given to everyone.

Liquid has a bag check now too, so if you don't have a cabana/daybed/chair you can check your things and not have to worry about loss or theft.

In your pocket? That would be handy for girls who want to bring phones, makeup, and such. I always just put cash, card, and id in my pocket. wet cash is still cash!

Dont keep your phone in your pocket i did that at wet republic, few drinks later forget its there, jump in the pool an the phone is now knackered lol !!

Found this lil waterproof thing about a year ago at Office Depot or Walmart. Works pretty well. Room for a medium wallet, or a blackberry / iphone with cash and credit card in it. Floats too incase it falls in the water.
