Chill couple looking to split-a-table, or party with some cool peeps. Any recommendations as far as where "the spots" to go to this weekend are? Any advice would be appreciated. We're both Vegas virgins. What types of scams should we avoid, bogus clubs, anything else that we should be aware of?... Just trying to show her a good-time, while staying safe. Thanks.

I'm not in vegas this weekend, and no one else has chimed in, so I'll help out. Scan the forums to see who else is there.


clubs you should see as a 1st timer to vegas:
XS, Surrender, Tao, Marquee (the "it" clubs) - get there early, lines get long (or hit up one of the hosts listed on the page to get on the guest list). You can club hop the night away.

to stay safe - stay in the major casinos, cab it rather than walking in the middle of the night on the strip. don't piss off drunk dudes. not much really to worry about.
