EXPIRED ID-But have papers

My purse was stolen last week, ID and all. I live in Cali, so getting a new ID in a week is not even possible. I have an expired ID (by 6 months), my renewal papers, and a birth certificate.

I am driving out there with a couple of my girls tomorrow. We have been planing this for months and I don't want to F up the trip for everyone. Will having these 3 things give me any luck to getting into the clubs????

You'll be totally fine. The whole 3 month waiting period for a new DL/ID is screwing up a lot of people here in CA. I was just there in March with my friend, she was fine with the expired ID and paper renewal.

Birth cert-definitely not necessary, leave it at home.

Also, if you want to be extra sure, you can contact a host at the clubs you're going to before-hand and run it by them.

But like mo said you should be fine. Do you have a passport? Cause that's even better

That would be awesome if it took 2 weeks but I need it for tomorrow and just went to the DMV on Monday. I also had a passport at one time but that is long gone and expired.

Ahh I see yeah ur best bet is taking what u mentioned.....
It's funny bars out here in SD never checked the expiration date on my iD until they hole punched the date when I renewed it
