  • Tao Beach on Sunday's

We have a group of 8 for a bachelor party, staying at The Venetian from June 4-6th, and were thinking about hitting up Tao Beach that Sunday.

Is that a good/bad day to go? I was looking at the forums and it seemed like Friday/Saturday might be way busier days.

Also, would it be worth getting a cabana or something, or should we be okay without it? Pricing? I think entrance fee might be free on Sundays since we're staying at the hotel.

Thanks in advance for the info.

Sundays are great time to go. They will have some of the best EDM DJ's on that day.

Just checked out the FB page and it actually looks pretty sweet. Thanks for that bit of info.

I also sent a message to Chris Traer from the JC host list to find out about pricing.

I've been to TAO Beach multiple times in the past, and last month I was there on Sunday when Laidback Luke was spinning ... I had never seen it that banging before!

Every table/chair in the main area was sold by 2p. Everyone was partying and having a great time, and the pool was full of beach balls and people splashing and romping around.

Before, TAO Beach had never really been my favorite due to the small pool size ... my visit last time definitely changed my mind. If you can score one of the cabanas surrounding the pool, that is money and where the action is!

We were sort of hesitant due to the small pool size as well, but I'm glad to hear you had a recent experience there and it really wasn't an issue. We're really just trying to party, drink and have a good time, so the overall atmosphere is really more important than how large the pool is.

Got quoted $1,500 for the cabana, so roughly $200/person with our group after tipping. Gotta run it through the guys, but I think if we're going to stay there all day that could be well worth it.
