Thoughts on 2012 May Invasion?

Wow. Just reading this thread has me smiling ear to ear. My best friend is getting married in June and I wanted to throw him an epic bash in Vegas but the rest of our friends didn't like the idea and cheaped out.

Reading this forum, it seems that's just as well as those guys would probably not be very fun in Vegas anyway.

I was still determined to make Vegas work and so, I paid for a 2 bedroom suite already (May 18-21 2012) and planned on paying for my best friend's airfare. I was getting worried about what my cost would be for this trip including club cover charge, greasing bouncer, etc. I still can't believe the date for our trip is aligned with May OD 2012.

With 4-6 Close friends still committed for Vegas, this would be an awesome way to send off my buddy to married life.

My question is, is it alright that I'm essentially bringing a sausage fest to AOD May Invasion 2012 and am I able to purchase 4-6 wristbands when pre-orders are happening in Sept?

Also, provided that we are punctual for the meet up times, is it a pretty smooth entry or were there problems this May in terms of getting into a club?

As for meetup times, I don't remember any issues whatsoever. Even the couple times my group arrived a bit later ( I wouldn't advise chancing it though)

I'm in for May as well! And like BadBeatJackpot, I'm also married, but that won't stop me from recruiting for my AOD bretheren! It's like I tell the wife... Just because I've already ordered doesn't mean that I can look at the menu again... and perhaps order something for a friend!

I'm 100% in for this. 16th trip to Vegas, and it'll be my first invasion!

I love the idea of turning it into a charity event. Especially anything that benefits animals in need.
