What happened to HAZE?

- Aria is an awesome hotel.
- The location is perhaps not as ideal as one would like but all in all as easy to get to as most other clubs (easier than say XS on foot).
- the space inside is nice

I never hear anybody talk about this place at all. Obviously the Light Group put a pretty decent amount of money into it but doesn't seem to be catching on while Marquee (just next door) does. What is the deal?

Who knows, it lost out to Vanity in the new clubs to open end of 2009/beginning 2010. When both first opened, people seemed to love Vanity and Haze got mixed reviews. Guess they couldn't over come that initial hump...

If you are staying at say, Caesars, walking to Tao/Bank/etc is not an issue. Walking to XS while doable is not ideal. MGM to XS impossible.

I just mean in case you want to walk the strip to get to venue

I hope you're joking... It's less than 2 miles. Probably takes 40 minutes at most, but most likely less.


I agree that I wouldn't want to walk from MGM though. I always try to stay north side of the strip though... T.I., Flamingo, Bally's, etc.

its a 40min walk when sober. When you are drunk there are many unexpected detours, therefore a 40min walk can turn into a 4hr walk very easily.

Haze is a great club! I've gone there numerous times and it was always full and a good time. People on this JC forum defiantely favor the Wynn clubs so that's why you don't hear about it too much. That doesn't mean its not doing good. With what they charge for cover, bottles, drinks, etc. it surely turns huge profits. The margin clubs make on alcohol is ridiculous... The light group is solid too. Just look at how long Jet has been open..

Not surprising that the majority of the clubs on this list are in Las Vegas. What does surprise me though (slightly) are what many on this forum consider to be "Tier 2" nightclubs that are doing well, revenue-wise.

Right??? I guess "tiers" have more to do with reputation and demand than revenue.

A Tier 2 club in Vegas still blows most clubs out of the water. The increased price of alcohol in Vegas and the fact that people party in Vegas every single weekend it makes sense
