I forgot to mention that sterling brunch is probably the best buffet. But it's 80 bucks a person.

I was just there yesterday, although my memory is so busted I forgot how much it was (between $20 and $30 after tax I believe). Absolutely worth it. A good trick is to show up at 10:30-45am... then you get the end of the breakfast (which is kick ass), and the start of the lunch at 11am (which is also kick ass).

Do not pass on the eggs Benedict, the pulled pork on cornbread (w/ a little cole slaw on top), and of course, the desserts.

I've had the eggs benedict at the Wynn Buffet, and I have to admit they were pretty awesome.

A week ago I had breakfast at the MGM and I must say I was not impressed.

The next night I had dinner at the Rio.....wow!! Amazing! The food was great.

Then the following day we had lunch at the Harrahs....good. For the price, I must say it was decent.

I've enjoyed the Wynn and Bellagio dinner buffets the most of all of them. I also do enjoy MGM's. One that I found horrible was the breakfast buffet at Planet Hollywood. Low quality food, crap service and an overall bad experience.

I've had Rio's Carnavale lunch buffet twice. This time around tried the Bellagio dinner buffet on friday. Paid around $37 per person (which is not bad for dinner buffet).

              the average: sushi
the worst: horribly overcooked Kobe sirloin
the redeeming: good pasta selection and dessert was good too
the highlight: crab legs and smoked scottish salmon... very very good

This was my experience as well, it should be a crime to overcook beef like they do! especially if it really is kobe...

I have been to the Paris, Caesars, and Bellagio buffets.

I was a big fan of the Paris one the first couple of times there, but it fell off very quickly during my later visits.

I would say that currently Bellagio's is my fav, but I have yet to try Wynn.

                      I can't think it's Kobe for $37 per person.

Wynn for Dinner and Bally's for Breakfast are easily the best I've had the few times I have eaten at buffets. But I do agree with Jack that the 40 bucks you spend on the Wynn may not be worth it. If you figure out a way to get in for 20 though... fully recommend it.

Not sure if it can be done for Wynn, but if you go to Bellagio just towards the end of lunch, you can stay over for dinner and pay the lunch price. A lot more of a variety at dinner times.

Anyone have an opinion on the best champagne brunch buffets? The roomies and I are looking to be incredibly hedonistic one afternoon and gorge ourselves on food and drink.

If money isn't an object, Bally's Sterling Brunch is amazing. It is a splurge thought at around $80 per person (last time I was there) and only offered on Sundays I believe.
