Couple going to Vegas for 1st time... MDW! Desperately need recommendations!

Hi All,

I have been searching up and down google for vegas day/nightlife advice for a couple (girl and guy) coming during MDW and I have not found anything good so I am hoping that you fine folks on here will be able to help

We are both very much into the house/electronic music scene and have been to every hot club between NYC and Atlantic City but this will be our first Vegas adventure.

What clubs are the best to go to, how can we avoid waiting in a line that probably goes down the length of the strip, without getting bottle service? It's not that we are cheap, we are definitely looking to spend some $$ but there is no way that the 2 of us would be able to take down an entire bottle of vodka/tequila etc in one evening so it's just not practical.

What about the day clubs/pools? Do we need to reserve lounge chairs beforehand? What is a good time to get to the day/night clubs without having to wait in a long ass line?

I was thinking about Encore beach club on sunday for kaskade definitely, XS on one of the nights (not sure which one) and maybe haze since we are staying at Aria. How is Wet Republic? I saw Tiesto is going to be there on Saturday but the tickets for us to walk in would be 150 bucks and I don't know if we have to pay for lounge chairs, etc. Plus I don't want to buy tickets to anywhere now because I am sure they will announce even more stuff going on when we get there.

I know alot of people say that guys have a better chance of getting in if they are with a group of girls but what about just a guy and a girl?

Oh and a little about us to give you an idea... I am in my mid twenties and he is in his early 30's, we consider ourselves pretty trendy, fast paced, young professionals lookin for a crazy good time in Vegas basically.

(If you want a place to layout or sit, you can. Again goes back to your group and if they are a group of girls. If so girls usually get offered a place to sit by guys with daybeds anyway. Contact a host on this site for the pool you want to attend for guestlist.

Yeah check out the website for marquee to see what the lineup is the days you guys are going its gonna be Electro for sure.

Surrender also supposedly throws a pretty good EDM night party with its crazy setup.

XS has crazy energy but will be more of a mashup than straight EDM

Nowadays Vegas is definitely catering to the EDM heads, so you guys are in luck.

Can also swing by Drais after 6am if you guys are looking for that last stop.

Since its only one girl and one guy, you guys should just store all the direct contacts you can find onto your phone and text them all right before you guys go and hope some of them take care of you. Just make sure to take care of some of them back (wink) You don't need bottle service for 2 people, unless you're ballers.

Either way, you guys can wing it and still have an awesome time.
