  • What does tipping the host get you?

If I book through a host do I still need to tip the host when I meet him? What does a good tip get me?

How much should I tip the host for a $3-4k table?

If I book a $3k table and tip the host $1k, would I get a better table than if I just booked a $4k table directly?

If you have a $3k table and you tip the host $1k, you should get the some of the best service you've ever had. It may get you one of the best tables in the place depending on the night.

If not, They may throw in a free bottle or some free red bull or something, who knows.

Typically we go by the $100 per bottle rule - $3,000 table would mean about 6-7 bottles. A good tip to the host would be about $500-600. A GREAT tip would be about $1,000.

$100 per bottle!? im going over MDW and figured with a $1k min spend that the most i'd even consider giving the host was $100 total, unless i was after a better table than they had intially given me

1k min spend over MDW equals 2 bottles. Most people will probably give the host $100-$200 in that scenario and it probably won't improve your table location.

On MDW, all of the clubs will be sold out. A $1k minimum (2 bottles) will probably get you one of the lower-end tables in the house.

If you get a 3K table and you tip the host 1k you might b able to get a 5k table depending on the host your using and the day. In my opinion the worst table u should get is a real good 4k table. Hope this helps out...

Wit a 1k min table you might not get a good table location since its MDW and giving the host only $100 might not help you get a better location. You should try giving them another $100 and that might help you out a bit.
