Guestlists & VIP Prepaid Tickets

What is everyone's opinion on signing up to be on a club's guestlist? Pure for example. Does it really help to get around the lines at all on a Saturday night?

What about pre-buying VIP tickets directly from the club? For example I was considering buying VIP passes for Jet (direct through the Lightgroup website) this Friday so we don't have to wait in line. Is that worthwhile to do?

Best bet is to grease someone to get in, VIP passes thru websites usually dont work unless their legit which the only one I've heard of being legit is the one for the Palms clubs thru wanttickets.com

I figured that any of the random websites don't have any legitimate connections with the clubs and you'd be no better off than greasing/tipping.

I specifically was looking at a link directly through the Mirage website about Jet and how it has VIP Tickets available. Here's a link:
