oh dear we have an 11 day trip to vegas.. atleast sydneygirl thinks 12 is a good estimate.. Maybe aussies are just born to party

Well some of us cant really go for a solid 11 days but instead go 3-4 days 3-4 times a year and party non-stop! lol

Plus I'm sure if your going 11 days your not going to be cracking a beer upon waking up and one more to wash down the advil before bed right?!?

Speaking about down unda! What part of the year would be a good time to go out there? I've alwasy wanted to take a trip out there.

Its always a good time but your winter is best = our summer. Anywhere from October through to March April is pretty good, but if you can swing it January/February is awesome.

hhmmm.... Might have to look into saving for something like that! Were supposed to be hitting Vegas for New Years this year for the World Series of Beer Pong!!! haha

I went in November last year and it snowed all over New Zealand (Christchurch/Wellington/Auckland), and wasn't very hot in Sydney/Melbourne, haha. I came back to work and everyone was expecting me to be tanned

Sydney reminded me a lot of Chicago for some reason...was there in Feb '03 w/the parents (ah...the days when the p's paid for travel) and enjoyed it but nightlife and downtown area seemed very similar to Chicago.

I would like to check out Melbourne though...and of course all of the exotic places in the nearby area (Fiji, Bora bora, etc).

I have found if you go for longer then 3 nights and are heavily drinking then by night 4 your body starts to shut down. To combat this I bring multivitamin/minerals and I try to head down to the hotel spa's steam room and chill in there for about 20 minutes while drinking gobs of water. It seems like you sweat out the toxins , feeling rejuvenated. You will leave asking "allright where's the booze!?"

I could of used this tip before my trip. I shut down at rehab. Security told me if couldn't prove to them I could leave on my own, I was going to the hospital.

vagisil works GREAT for times like this!! by the way how in the hell do you "PROVE" something like this?? oh wait i know, you get up and go, which by the way if you didnt get up and go you were going to the hospital anyway!! these security officers seem like douches, there was no need for them to intervene and say that.....if they are saying that to you then they must feel that you are coherent enough to be ok!!
