  • Kilts

I have been to Vegas the past 2 summers with this being my third. I have done table service at most of the big clubs(using alot of information from this website). Over the last 2 years I have refrained from bringing a kilt over and wearing it out in the clubs but this year I have decided to do so and make a good effort of it(ie no doc martins, t shirts etc). In the past 2 years I have yet to see anyone in a club wearing a kilt.

To get to the point, has anyone ever had trouble/seen anybody have trouble getting into a club due to wearing a kilt?

Below is my Itinery and I was hopin to wear it the first 2 nights I am in vegas so this would be for surrender and marquee. I am doing bottle service at marquee and have been told by the host that its not a problem. Just wandering incase I wear it any additional night if there will be a problem or not.

    Surrender - Fri night

WET (day) Marquee (night) - Saturday

EBC (day) Vanity (night) - Sunday

TAO Beach (day) XS (night) - Monday

    Pure - Tuesday

    Surrender - Wednesday

Liquid (day) TAO (night) - Thursday

    Only 27 days to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As a fellow kilt-wearer I took mine to Vegas two years ago but on the advice of a couple of Vegas veterans I didn't wear it out to any clubs. I'm going to say you might get in with it at Surrender if you're smart with it and have a table (I'm going to ask the host when I'm booking). As for Marquee, I'm guessing no chance.

The hosts at Marquee were encouraging the Kilt, describing them as ''proper attire''. Mine will be getting donned!

I wanna try a Kilt. I wonder how that would work for me tho? Considering I'm black not Scottish...

To be totally honest wearing a kilt to a club makes you look like you are trying to hard and most hosts laugh at it when you are not by them.

I know it sounds really mean but people here are fucked up in their thinking. Girls will go for your accent not your kilt. They are kind of a turn off in America.

My advice as a girl in las vegas and former nightclub worker. Dont wear it. you will score more girls without it.

Despite the fact that many guys will use the kilt as a weapon, some of us just like wearing it.

Chasing chicks or not, I'd rather be in a kilt than a tux.
