To Cabana or not to Cabana

In the summer does the Cabana's get too hot?

Was planning on booking a cabana for mid June but my friend told me they get too hot. Is this true?

If yes, what should we book? First time to pool party with 8 buddies for bachelors. Thought a cabana would be fun.

Any suggestions for pool parties as well?

Staying in City Center June 17/18 2011.

Your friend is nuts if he thinks being in a cabana is somehow hotter than standing in the blazing sun all day.

If you are 8 guys going to a pool club then a cabana reservation is DEFINITELY the way to go if you want to have the full experience with a minimum of hassle.

If you're staying at CityCenter, Liquid would be the most obvious choice.

What if it was a night party maybe at Surrender? Would a cabana or table be better?

agree on the cabana........disagree on liquid........evening cabana, you should go for Surrender in my opinion.......day cabana go for Wet Republic, Tao Beach or EBC

Cabana is fun! Most of them do come with AC, and even if they didnt it is still cooler to have the shade of a Cabana then being in the middle of the sun

I don't hear much chatter so i'm curious...

Things I do know: our opening Ditch party last week was sold out and packed. We have awesome entertainment booked at Ditch for the foreseeable future. I like the layout of our pool better than most and I think our cabanas are awesome.

Last week I got to visit Bare, Liquid, EBC, Wet, and Venus with a cabana at most- They're all awesome pool clubs, but I feel like i'm missing something as to why Palms Pool and Bungalows is hardly mentioned... Especially for Ditch.

My Opinion:

1. Far from the action.

2. No promoter or VIP HOST that has gone above and beyond in customer service or hookup that gets people to start really talking about the super awesome time they had there.

3. No one knows about it on here specifically. If you guys were packed then people obviously must like it. Maybe you just gotta blow it up my man.

ps. I don't mind helping you get started with number 2, if you want to give up a mad hookup. Thinking on checking it out on June 18th and probably need a table for 8 man bachelor party. Thinking of patio at moon, but was hoping to get hookups with 2 bedroom suite and dinner at N9NE steakhouse for us so we don't have to drive back to city center after late night partying. But you know just throwing it out there.

People don't know enough about it. My group (6 girls, 5 guys) will be in Vegas this Friday, and we're planning on going to Wet Republic because it's been hyped up much more, and people always talk about how awesome it's been to go there.

Now, if you'd like to hook me up with a Cabana with no/low minimum, I will absolutely bring my group to Ditch to see TPain, and I'll report back to the boards about how it was! :-) Feel free to hit me up on my BB, info is in my signature.

I've actually inquired a few times about a cabana at Ditch in July, but for my group right now the price was a little steep. As more people are adding on, it may be an option. I've been to Ditch before with my girls and we didn't have a cabana but we had a great time, so I want to come back and preferably do a cabana this time but it's just too steep for us right now. Also, didn't Ditch at one time have a cabana rental fee on top of the F&B minimum? That would have been a major turn off as well!

ChiTown: There is no cabana rental fee on top of the F+B min. Let me know if you get enough to justify the cost of a cabana and i'd be happy to set it up for you.

I would love to do whatever I can to assure that JC members have an awesome time at Ditch. As it is now we're sold out of everything besides 1 or two $4k min cabanas again for Ditch this Friday.

And chewy: i'm happy to help with any sort of reservations your group wants to make with us for your bachelor party from tables to dining to rooms.
