I'm setting up a bachelor party steakhouse dinner and have heard good things about N9NE at the Palms and the Golden Steer. Anyone have any thoughts on their food, atmosphere and expense?
N9NE is cool no doubt, but I bet you'll be spending most of your Las Vegas time in casinos/clubs... get out and check the Golden Steer... it's old school Vegas. The mob ate there, the Rat Pack ate there and anybody who's ever been anybody in Nevada has eaten there! It one of a kind and worth the visit!
Good arguments for both - - I'd give a small edge to N9NE just because it's a Bachelor Party and N9NE is more geared towards that...
If it was another night, looking for a classic Vegas spot for dinner, then for sure, Golden Steer.

Much appreciated.
N9NE is awesome. i tried it 2 years ago when i stayed at the palms. never heard of golden steer. where are you guys staying? every major hotel has a good steak house.
Every major hotel has a steak house. Whether they're good or not is debatable. I'd go Golden Steer, N9NE is good but ever so boring in it's desire to be LA cliche.
Thanks for the feedback guys - I think we're going to lean towards Golden Steer cuz it's a little differentiated. I've got another BP the next weekend, though, that I'm gonna try to get to N9NE for.
