BoomBox Room on Friday

Hey, going to Vegas next friday and was thinking of checking out Marquee. Specifically the boom box room. Was hoping someone could help me. How was the crowd? Music? etc... thanks

I really enjoyed this room. It was nice to take a break from listening to EDM. But, the room will definitely be smaller than the main room. The crowd was well-dressed. No hoochie mamas/hood rats/trailer trash.

The crowd was good. Diverse, attractive, well-dressed, and not hood.

The music was great. Current and 90's hip-hop and r&b from all areas of the country and the dj took requests.

The room is small but there is an outside area right by it where you can still hear the music

That sounds perfect! Did you do bottle service? If, what were the prices like? I know my crew would prefer doing it there vs. the main room. Supposedly a female acquaintance was told $3000 for 3 bottles.

Didn't do bottles but I saw somewhere on here that the min was 2.5K for the room. $3K for 3 bottles doesn't sound right unless they were all magnum sized

Oh ok. I got the info 2nd hand so it probably got mixed up along the way. I guess a minimum isn't bad. How many people do they let you in with a $2500-3000 minimum?

I got quoted a 2.5k min for 12 dudes in the boombox room for a sunday.

Doing some very basic maths on that offer (and assuming 8.1% sales tax and an automatic 20% gratuity), that comes to $300 a head including a tip for host and the bouncer. Considering it is a weekend night in one of the hottest clubs in the world, that is a great deal!
