Help Please... Moon Table Locations

Hi everyone!
I am planning on getting a table at Moon on a Friday night in the near future. I am getting conflicting information about the locations of the tables. I have been told by a Host that my options for a table are in the VIP room (which is separate from the main room, has its own dancefloor, but is not closed off) or the patio. I have also been told that there are tables surrounding the main dancefloor, but these require a higher bottle minimum. In another post of mine, I was told by someone different that there are also tables on the second level....

Does anyone know what the real deal is? Where is this VIP room and which would be the best location to get the table???

P.S. Any pictures of these areas anywhere out there?

Interesting. I've been to Moon many times, and there is a back room to the left of the bar once you exit the elevators, but i've NEVER heard of it being referred to as the "VIP" room. It has its own DJ and dancefloor, but it is never as packed as the main room.

There are also tables on the little "mezzanine" level of Moon, however there isn't really a dance floor.

The best tables are definitely the ones surrounding the dancefloor. Also, with the weather warming up, tables outside also offer unparalleled views.

Is the mezzanine level in the main room, surrounding the dancefloor? If it is, I think I can kinda see it in some pictures when I search the internet...

Moon does in fact have a upper Mezzanine located towards the balcony. As far as getting a table you could always request an area as location is not guaranteed, but we will try to accommodate your requests to the best of our abilities.

Best table in my opinion is second level over looking the dance floor. big tables (could fit 6 or more possibly), really close to the fun but your not getting stepped on. Im going there in July and have requested 2nd level. quicker service up there too if you expect to actually see your waitress

I believe I posted in your other thread... I have to concur with the poster that said that the room next to the bar is not that great... it is too close to the elevator and bathroom traffic... when I went in January our table was right across from the DJ booth as you enter to the large dancefloor and I thought it was awesome... one of our buddies had a table on the mezzanine overlooking the dancefloor and it was nice too but there isn't anywhere to dance around there... Also it is much closer to the second floor bar so I would consider it a high traffic area...

I have had tables on the patio, main dance floor and upper mezzanine. Without question the best table was on the patio. Fresh air and spectacular views. By far the worst table location in my opinion is the upper mezzanine level. We felt removed from all the action. Overall small area without the vibe of the other areas. The "vip" area seems like a small chill type location which I have never had a table in. Hope that helps
