  • promoter's help us out

there are a lot of tickets for events during the memorial W/E on wantickets.com and you can get a small discount with the correct promo code. after speaking with a representative there they told me most of the club promoters have the codes so any help is greatly appreciated

Maybe some do or some people at the clubs do, but I doubt the hosts do. I don't think many are involved in online ticket sales as they make money off of tips for booking tables or helping people on their guestlists. Even if they did and were able to help you out, how will you help them out?

What's standard to tip for getting on a guest list or for booking a table?

Varies depending on how helpful you think they were (responsiveness etc), if you plan on going back to Vegas more frequently (building a base relationship with him/her AND their network of hosts), etc.

For guestlist - if you actually see the host at the venue or they walk you in, then maybe like 20-30 for guys, 5-10 for girls, if cover is NOT waived. If cover waived, then increase it to like $50 for guys. If it's just guestlist and you don't see them or walk you in, then no tip

Bottles- this really varies by how busy the place is (holiday weekends, friday/sat vs week nights, etc), type of table location (indoors, main floor, dance floor etc), if they walk you in, if they were able to get you any deals, lower mins, etc. At a min I do $100 though. Some recommend $100 per bottle, but it really depends. Some tip a lot more especially for premium locations, some tip less than $100 per bottle. If you're not looking for a great location, not planning on going back much, then start off at just $100 total and work up from there (but of course if you're getting 10 bottles, you should be doing more than just $100 total).
