Palms or Caesars?

Hi,

Me and 3 friends from Aus are staying in Vegas for 6 nights in mid June. We are in our mid 20s and going to go out every night and relax at the hotel/pool and eat good food during the day.

Which of these two hotels have better bars/food and party atmosphere?

The Palms wins in each category, but Caesars is in a much better location and on the strip.

If I was you, I would strongly consider staying at the Cosmopolitan based on your criteria.

If you can afford to go with some pricier options, the Cosmopolitan and the Venetian will be great choices. The rooms will be plenty roomy for you guys, there are a ton of great restaurants on site, and the nightlife options at both places are really good.

If you're stuck between Palms and Caesars, I think a group of your demographic would appreciate Caesars more as it provides more central access to the prime nightlife locations on the Strip. The Palms is fun if you're only going to be in town for a couple of nights, but with a stay as long as yours I think Caesars wins for overall best choice.

I have stayed at the Palms recently and did not rate it at all.

We had a room in the Palms place tower and that was fairy nice but being so far from the strip it does become a pain in the arse.

Cosmo is unreal but a little dearer, Plannet Hollywood is great value and top location but does not have that great a pool scene.

Even taking that into account I will for sure stay at Plannet Hollywood when I return as most days you are at other hotels pool parties anyway.

Ay mate. When i went over i stayed at Palms.. i did a heap of shopping around .. end of the day its sick hotel, young vibe (I went with it coz i was 22/23 at the time) location aint that bad.. cab to strip is nothing as well.

Palms was sweet over the whole weekend but don't get me wrong i was on the strip a lot as well.

Cabs are cheap compared to aus (plus with USD at current rate u'll be laughing)
