Vegas in january?

me and 5 boys are heading to vegas in mid january for 9 nights. From australia. for my 21st.

My bday is the 9th on jan. were heading about the 15th as its abit cheaper and should miss some of the convention rush etc.

Is this time ok to go? i know its winter in us then, but is the city abit dead at this time?

Anyone been in january? are they still many girls there, packed clubs etc etc.

I was there in January with my boy... we met a girl on the plane that was there for a bachelorette party... and then met his coworker who was also there for a bachelorette party... and then met some random girls on the street because one of them had on a tiara... met some more leaving Moon and headed over two Drai's... needless to say in january I met no less than two dozen decent to hot chicks in 48 hours... there will always be ladies around...

Went around the same time this year you're planning next year, but on a couple of weekdays. It was a little emptier but still had a great time. Also, on the day I was flying out noticed a lot of people were coming in for the weekend. So I'm pretty sure it got really busy just as soon as I left, so you'll still see a good crowd.

The weather leaves a bit more to be desired. It's a little chilly at night, which is really only a problem when you're a girl dressed to impress. Thankfully there's coat check or else I would have frozen to death. Also, pools won't be open.

Yes. They're both at the same time. AVN seems to extend an offer to CES attendees.

Really though, it seems like guys just tell their wives or girlfriends they're going to CES, when in fact, their main reason for being in Las Vegas at that time is AVN.

Vegas is never dead and there will be plenty of people there. The top tier places will always be crowded. It can get cold and night (30-40 F) so be prepared for that

Went this past January and it was a good time but our favourtie clubs like tryst/xs/surrender werent the best just because of how cold it got out at night..so surrender was all girls and very small...xs was pretty much empty...tryst was good but the crowd was off..it was fairly chilly out during the day as well..but Tao was still packed like always and Marquee was very packed as well..so stick to the indoor clubs and you should be okay! lol

+1. Not as busy as summer but it is still a good time. Went twice in January and both times were still a whole lot of fun.
