I am new to the board but want to thank everyone for all the really useful info on here.
I was wondering if anyone knew of any special events, appearances, etc. the weekend of May 13th. Going to Vegas for my buddy's bachelor party (6 guys) and staying in a suite at Palms Place.

Our plans so far:
Friday- Tao (bottle service)
Saturday- Tao Beach (daybed)
Saturday night- Lavo? stay home and party at the Palms?
Sunday- chill pool for recovery?

I've never been to Lavo, so I can't offer much there. I know it's small, but can be a good time from what I've heard.

The Palms is a good, solid option, especially if you're looking for a great view and variety. Whether you're getting bottle service or using the wrist bands, you would have the ability to go to multiple clubs with different vibes and music on the same property on the same night.

Moon has one of the top views in all of Vegas and uses DJ's who play hip hop and top 40. Rain is a spectacle and Saturdays are all house/trance. Ghost Bar is more of a lounge but has a great view as well. Playboy is a place worth checking out and has blackjack tables, but probably isn't a spot you want to spend a large portion of your night in.

I would start at Ghost Bar and then move on to Moon or Rain, depending on what your tastes in music are. Playboy is right below Moon and relatively easy to get to.

If you're getting bottle service, definitely go with Moon or Rain.

I think we'll do the wristbands Saturday night. after BS on friday, daybed on saturday, and some in room bachelor party activities, some of the guys might be physically and financially tapped out for Saturday night anyways.
i think we will also do the pool at the Palms on Sunday for a more relaxed recovery day?

It's a bachelor party and Vegas just brings out the energy in me. I'd switch the plan up slightly -

Friday day - Tao Beach
Friday - Tao (bottle service)
Saturday day - Wet Republic
Saturday Night - Palms wristbands
Sunday day - Encore Beach Club (Lil Jon and Steve Aoki)

i would love to hit up Tao Beach on Friday, but we are driving from San Diego and won't get in until 4ish. ECB would be sweet on Sunday. the challenge will be talking a few in the party to committing to it. we're in our mid to early 30's and a few in the group have been shut in for a few years, i don't think they will hold up well (see: pansies) perhaps sunday could be a small tactical strike team.
