Really looking forward to this place opening up. Driving down Flamingo every single day dropping off blood for KatieTheNurse.com my Girlfriend I have noticed FLAMINGO going thru some changes. And at first I was like yeah right. But now it looks pretty damn good. Its set to open MDW May 26th but I wonder if there will be a "SOFT OPENING" we might be able to Invade? haha Heres the flyer.

I wonder about this place? I know they've updated the hotel and the pools new but its still tropicana. All of a sudden all the Hot people are going to go there? Also, are they going to start booking DJ's? All the good ones are taken. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I think that they are gonna do pretty well my motto has always been money saved can be money that can be spent. I think that they will be able to come at DJs with some good amounts of cash. If they go over the top on service people will go crazy. Yah the Flamingos got shit rooms but who says ya gotta stay there. I am quite excited to see how this is gonna do.

They just updated them.... the suites look legit. Pull some strings and have them let us "test" em out

Maybe, I'm sure it'll take time to attract the crowds... but remember tropicana is a favorite of cash strapped party kids too lol.

I don't think DJs are an issue, new spots open up each year and are able to book djs, this wont be any different.

Also, me and a small contingency of AODers will be staying at the Trop for the invasion, so we'll see what the new vibe is like.

The club is at TROPICANA not FLAMINGO. I think it may do well. A lot of people on this board seem to be preoccupied with 5 star status on whether a club is good or does well.

all I've heard is the 26th is the official grand opening, but it'll be open most of the previous weekend as soft openings

apparently the grand opening is an night time club event

I think our group would be down to check it out, but not sure what day would be best considering the events Jack has setup during AOD. Guessing Saturday will be best but I want to see Marquee Dayclub. My crew is staying at the Trop so we can do some looking around and see if it looks worthwhile and maybe report back to the group at Liquid or Marquee and we could leave early to check it out if some feel like it is a good idea.
