May 5-8, Two ladies

Two of us (girls) will be in Vegas May 5 (evening) to May 8 (11.30 pm flight) staying at the Mirage. We've been to Vegas a few times before but never during pool season and not to many of the clubs (the reason being that standing in long longs and paying high cover is a major deterrent for me). I'm always more inclined to spend my money on fine dining but I definitely want to party a bit!

I've been checking out the forums about all of the clubs, times to arrive and hosts to contact but I'm still at a loss. I feel like we're a bit more at a loss since we're only two girls. We can't afford a table, bottle service or daybed rental (all the daybeds I saw were $500+ for the weekend).

Does anyone have specific recommendations of where to go that weekend that we could have fun without a table/daybed, not have to wait in line and/or get in free and/or have drinks specials or an open bar slot for women?

In Feb '10, a group of us went to Pure and the Bank after 2am and managed to get in for free and without a line, would this sort of thing be possible in May (though I would like to get in earlier)?

The rules (and prices) are different for girls, especially if you're hot. Since you're staying at the Mirage, I would recommend going to Bare at least one of the days (Saturdays are best). You can get each get a regular sun chair for a reasonable food & beverage minimum.

Girls, this forum has a lot of very useful and fun information but majority of it is related to guys and not girls. Girls are a hot commodity in Vegas and the clubs WANT YOU THERE so they can get the guys to spend the big bucks to be where the hot girls are.

Not on any trip or getting into any club have I had to pay cover. I'm no Brazilian model and that doesn't matter. As long as you are female, dressed well, a little sex appeal with some fake lashes and/or heels and you're golden.

What I usually do is figure out what clubs I want to hit up before I head to Vegas and what nights and contact the hosts to get on a guest list. There are names and recommendations of hosts in the Host Appreciation thread.

Get your name on the list, show up at a reasonable time (before 11 usually), when you get in line ask whoever is working the line where the guest list line is. They will ask whose guest list, you give them a name, the rope comes up, you're stamped and you're in. Simple as that. Smile, flirt with a guy and he might offer you a drink.

Sometimes as you're walking through the club, you'll get invited to a table or the security for the table will invite you in. Then you party!

The cabanas at Bare come with a safe. The daybeds in the elevated VIP area have a compartment for your stuff. There is no locker room.

They do provide towels. Most girls wear their bikini under a dress or a coverup and with heels.

We're also flying in tomorrow to party from Thurs to Sunday. We are a group of 7 guys from Europe, 4 British, 2 German and a Spaniard. Ages range from 30 to 35, and the guys would describe themselves as 'handsome and charming', though that is of course very subjective...

Dear sweet lord, you don't need a budget for clubs.

you should take advantage of your genetic trump card and play it for all its worth.

bring your A game night outfits. Get dolled up. If you got it, flaunt it.

In Vegas, there is always an abundant supply of moderately well dressed, above average looking guys with spare cash and immaturity to match.

You latch on to one these groups and use them to get into a club of your choice and only drop your anchor when you feel you have hit the right combination of guys/fun/booze/dancing.

Flirt your way to the top.

I'm flying in tomorrow too and we're staying at the Mirage Thursday night and the Hard Rock Fri/Sat/Sun nights. A good friend of mine is a bartender at XS so we have a way in to Tryst for Cinco De Mayo (She will most likely escort us in because of the crowd) with 2 drink tickets for guys and 4 for girls.
