Just in case one table doesn't come thru for any reason I would like to have a back up. Do host get mad if you change your mind the last minute?
Is it bad to book a table at 2 different clubs the same night?

I used to coordinate both dining and bottle service for a DC lounge/restaurant a year ago and would recall how annoying it would be to get a no-show. A last-second cancellation is pretty much equivalent to a no-show in my opinion.
I'm pretty sure that if you work with a VIP Host at the Nightclub of choice, arrive (no later) than the recommended time, and tip well - you should have no reason to book two different clubs. In the unlikely event the club is somehow sold out even after coordinating your booking with a VIP Host, you can easily club hop to your other preferred nightclub locations and find yourself an open table.
never been to Vegas but just my 2 cents regardless

Yea, best not to do it OP. Find a good host and as long as you're spendin the $$$ you shouldn't have anything to worry about.-WarreN aka "The Business"

Do unto others as they would do unto you. Think about this way: if you've ever organized an event (birthday/party/whatever), how would you feel if put work into it and no one showed up.
Better yet, if you were a host, how would YOU feel if someone no-showed on YOU?!FO SHO.Originally posted by redbullvodkayou're not ditching them, they're ditching you by not going.Originally posted by kimballYou want to be at the club where girls want to be... not where guys get good bottle deals.

I see where your logic is but yes it is definitely a host pet peeve. its more when you talk and talk with someone, set everything up, maybe even hold a good table for them....and then they cancel at the last second. at least have the common courtesy to let the host know that you're not coming or that your deciding between his club and another. The worst thing you can do is make a reservation and ask for a good table or have a big minimum, have the host hold the table, and then not answer when he's trying to get ahold of you. all you have to do is communicate, and even if you cancel, the host will have no problem taking care of you even if its not at his club.Korye Blackmon

Love it! I wouldnt use the arguement that hosts cancel on guests either. Its not the best way to have a relationship with hosts.Originally posted by throwin View Postno I think all hosts are thrilled if you cancel on them last minute.Las Vegas is sort of like how God would do it if he had money. ~Steve Wynn

It's always good to have a back up plan but in this case no. If you do everything right on your part (ex: show up early on time) you wont have to worry about not having a table.David Chan
