Where the heck are the Young people at?

Just thought of this. Look at some of these post. Most of the time when you see a post asking about how to avoid a cover charge is lot of times a young person.

I've been partying in vegas 3-4 times a year since I was 21 & I've never been to a club with the majority of the crowd being sub 25. I've tried 90% of all the major clubs including the offstrip ones (Palms, HR) and either im INCREDIBLY unlucky or im just doing it all wrong cause NO MATTER what club i go to; it seems the MAJORITY of the crowd are 35yr+ Range, dont get me wrong occassionally i'll see a handfull(Literally 5) of "young" gals but it seems there are often more people over 45 than there are people sub 25 or sub 30 for that matter. Dont get wrong, i've hooked up with several attractive gals but no matter what they are always 4-6yrs older. When i was 21 the girl was 27, when i was 22 the girl was 28 and so on and so forth. Just an example I recently checked out Palms(4club) on a Friday(Majority 35+), Saturday started at Pure(Mostly +35 with ALOT of +45) was refered to a salsa lounge at the MGM that was alright, atleast 1/3 of the crowd was around the 23-28 range, but again the other 2/3 were considerably older. Sunday went to LAVO-- this one had several more of the sub 30 crowd but still MAJORITY is still over 35+!! Again dont get me wrong I see A TON of young people when i walk around the strip, at the Pool Parties & even at some restaurants at times i group up with these people but again when we arrive at the clubs its like we're part of a very small percentage in this particular age grp 21-27. Where the F* are the Young-ins?!!
Am i doing it all wrong or is this just bad luck? Where do all you young people i see during the day and pool parties go?

You went to the wrong spots your last trip. I run into plenty of sub 30 people at spots like Tao, Marquee, XS, Jet, LAX. Plenty of young people roll to Vegas every weekend from Vegas. I'm originally from LA and a lot of my friends who are all sub 30 roll out a lot and most of the girls I meet in Vegas are from Cali.

Remember young people are more likely to be influenced by big names, new spots, and the spots that have the wow factor. Stick to those and you'll have better luck.

BTW I'm 26 and I enjoy the 30+ crowd as well. If she looked like Halle Berry or Stacy Dash I would have no problem with a 45 year old. It's Vegas...

+ This post = Your answer I think. All in the timing of when you go. Most young people are saving for that "once a year" trip. Also, a lot of young people ARE walking the strip and doing the "cheaper" trip activities. Places like Palms and Pure are old news, I think the younger generation is hittin the pools (in the summer) and hotter new clubs.

The short summary of this that there are more 26-45 year olds who can afford the club than the 21-25 crowd. Once you're 21, though, why does age matter? The people in the clubs are there to have a good time... If they are 22 or 42, it doesn't matter to me.

Regardless of age VEGAS is the #1 party spot in the world... I think we will all agree to that...

I'd guess the crowd that hits the bigger pool parties & top clubs is on average between 24 & 36 with the average age being 28ish...

Vegas cost money. Young girls don't tend to have that.

The only time I've experienced this otherwise is someone graduating, someone's birthday or if you really want younger (legal) girls, go to Mexico on spring break (go on US spring break, NOT Canadian spring break).

Honestly, I've only met one girl at a club in Las Vegas that was fairly young (shit, she was 18) and she was with her group that was older, who was all rich.

What's wrong with Canadian Spring Break? Oh, and would Mexican Spring Break be worth going too?

I found Canadian Spring Break to be more tame compared to American Spring Break & I can vouch for this based on pictures and videos I did for a spring break company. But, a guy from Canada who was also there for both (February is generally Canada's university spring break time, while March is the US spring break time) said to me that Canadian girls are much more conservative when it came to the contests, but were easier to bed, while US girls were more keen on winning those contests rather than bedding guys.

I can't comment on the matter, as I spent most of my time working.

I have no idea about Mexican Spring Break. But, what I do know is not to f*ck around with the locals.

Regarding where did I meet the girl, I won't say. The club is not tier 1 though.

As far as I can tell, the majority of women who "Party" in Vegas are doing so on one of these 3 occasions.

1) Bachelorette Parties
2) 30th Birthdays
3) Divorce/Breakup

Not the youngest demographics... But those are the best demographics for having a great time with a bunch of girls you don't know!!!

The young"er" (25-29) groups seem to be from California

Not many girls in their early 20's are going to fly to Vegas to party when they can just hit their local Wednesday ladies night for free..

21-25 year olds are still doing early March spring breakish trips like Florida, Mexico and caribbean Cruises...
Try Key West in mid March... Southbeach for WMC... Just remember... Dead Fishes...

Young people are looking for the best bang for their buck. If there were still an all-you-can-drink place like The Beach or Pollyesthers, you can bet that place would be packed with a lot of <25 y.o.

When I was in my early 20s, I looked for the cheapest hotel rooms, I'd take the Greyhound from Canada to Las Vegas and I'd spend all my money on alcohol. Most young people I've met in Las Vegas (<25 y.o.) are usually just drinking in the street and looking for the best deals, not to be ballers and drink Moet & Cristal @ XS.

did you check their id? sometime its hard to determine a persons age. they may look older than they are or they might look young for their age.

When I was <25 I had similar experiences, stayed at places like IP and Riviera. Pregamed with smirnoff, made large cups for the long wait in line at places like Pure (back when it was the most popular club in Vegas) where we would get in line hella early so we could get in free with our passes.

I noticed a few of you took offense to the post, it wasnt meant to offend the older population. "Older" crowds are okay on my book I was merely asking where the hell do all the young people go at night. I love me a good cougar but after 5+yrs partying in vegas would be nice to meet more than 1 or 2 sub 27yr olds...

Someone said i went to the wrong spots but i've practicaly been to every major club and have yet to see more than a handfull of a younger crowd that i see at pool parties and walking around the strip. My question merely was where the hell do you guys go at night... sleep?

Im also from LA, im not rich or anything but im able to go 3-4times a year. Generally my trips are 3days/nights long. In those 3 days we normally visit 1-3 Top NightClubs a NIGHT, 1pool party a day & get bottle service ATLEAST once. Its safe to say "young" people can have a GREAT time and not need to spend as much money as some of you are saying. If that were the case i probably wouldnt see that many youngsters at the pool parties since, in my experiences, they are comparable in prices.

Having said that, you guys all make very good points about flight costs and other costs young people might encounter. Im just so used to clubbing in LA, OC, Hollywood, LBC & other southern CALI spots and I hardly ever see even 1\8th the amount of the older crowd i see in LV-- for this reason its hard for me to rate Vegas Clubs over LA clubs. But as far as the party city debate goes there is no comparisson: LOVE the 24\7 thing in Vegas--- to die for!!

I'm 23 and since turning 21 I've been to Vegas 12+ times. I've noticed that the crowds are older too, but like the general consensus, it's mostly a $$ factor. Usually folks I meet in my age range are from Socal or the Bay so I would assume the location has to do with a lot of it too.
