Thursday -Table at Tao - Beach/Lounge area

Is that a crappy location? The host quoted me (for 2 people total - 1 bottle) $350 min + tip etc. Other areas are $1350++ - can't help but think I'm [not] going to get what I [don't] pay for.

Part of me wants to do it up at a table (but I can't do $1500!) - part of me wants to avoid the big clubs altogether and just meet people outside them and at the casino bars....

Man thats a tough one. I've had BS in both the Lounge & The beach, and they are both away from the action. But 1500 only between the 2 of you is pretty nuts, try to see if you can meet up with someone on here and split a table in the main or opium room

Agreed. I've never been to Tao Beach at night, but I've been through the Lounge. I can't imagine having a table in the Lounge. It's loud no matter where you go inside Tao, but the Lounge is way too laidback for me.

I've always enjoyed the Opium Room over the main room, but I think it's because I've always been in tables in the main room that felt cramped.

Ask the host if a $300 handshake will get you anywhere with a 1-bottle minimum. He might be able to move you into the Opium room which is right off of the main room and a much better location.

If that will work - you're looking at $350 + $30 in tax + $76 in server gratuity + $300 to the host. $750 might be worth it to get you into the main club area.
