  • Hotel Suggestions for bachelor party, Planet Hollywood PH Towers by Westgate?

I'm planning a bachelor party for June and we have about 12-15 people.

I plan on getting (3) 2 Bedroom suites for about $500/night. I have bunch of questions I hope can be answered:

Does anyone have any pros and cons about this place? I haven't personally stayed here, generally stay at Encore's regular room. The only thing I've read online is that the registration lines are long...? I'm thinking this place since it comes with 2 beds in each room and couches as well.

The address for this place is on Harmon, so can it be accessed from the strip through Planet Hollywood?

I appreciate any other suggestions you may have besides the Palms. Open to the idea of a large suite and a few connecting/extra rooms somewhere else. Again, ~500/night so roughly $3k for the weekend.

I checked Mandalay and they show completely sold out. Thanks in advance for your help and suggestions.

looking at the same month and same amount of guys.

any advice on how to get rooms cheap at cosmo or good suite advice is welcome.

so far ph towers is high on our list. 2 or 3 2 bedrooms like op but at 700/night or 1050/night. 2800 - 4500 sq ft (depending on 2 or 3 suites and if we can upgrade to penthouse)

we can get venetian suites for $175/night and put 4 in 4 room so around 875/night. 2800 sq ft.

and cosmo is a ridic 1k/night for wraparound +1 bedroom. 1900 sq ft 600 sq ft balcony

no one plans on sleeping much at night. but everyone is in their 30s and half the group will be relaxing during the day. any other suite deals or suggestions are much appreciated.

if you happen to have a costco card and want to book on vegas.com , then check out costco.com. they have $100 gift cards for 80 bucks. you can use 20 gift cards toward 1 booking so 1600 for 2000.

        Planet Hollywood Westgate Towers

After a week long of searching i settled on PH Westgate towers... we booked a 2 bed suite for a bachelor party in late May.

Our two night stay (Fri and Sat) stay came out to $977.00 after taxes and fee's w/ a AAA discount.

Also, PH just opened up Gallery Night Club, which we're hoping won't be a bust by the time we get there. I believe they opened their doors the 2nd weekend in April.

We also checked out the Cosmo but the rooms didn't suit what we were looking for. If you're interested in a discount code for the cosmo rooms pm me for a 30% off.

I heard MGM has a suite called "The Bachelor Pad" complete with a stripper pole, which is not on their website. We considered this for our bachelor party but they only had it available 1 of the 2 nights we wanted it for.

I'm also trying to figure out where the best and cost effect pool party will be to hit up the weekend before memorial day. I'll keep you posted if anything good comes up.

I've stayed at the ph towers a few times although just the regular studio suites. Enjoyed it. It's connected through the strip to planet hollywood and the miracle mile shops (some don't like having to go through miracle mile to get to the casino, but I don't mind).

Other members who's stayed there and in the 2 br suites have generally given it favorable reviews.

There are people on VRBO and other condo-type websites where you can rent these 2-bedroom suites from a person rather than from the hotel. Often times you'll get them for 30-40% less than what the hotels are asking for.

For instance, a two-bedroom UPPER FLOOR suite came to $1,149 TOTAL for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night in early June through this guy I dealt with.

                  November 12-13, 2008 - Palms Standard
March 18-22, 2009 - MGM Grand Bungalow Suite
April 22-26, 2010 - MGM Grand Bungalow Suite
                  June 2-6, 2011 - Venetian Bella Suite
June 21-26, 2012 - Cosmopolitan Wraparound Terrace Suite

PH Towers offers a nice discount with the AAA Card... I'm booked in July for the 2 bedroom suite at $325 per night... It's 4 nights for 1500 total after tax... the nightly rates averaged $325 then tax...
                              Wolfpack is ready 7/21-7/25
