Cover Charges? Club lines?

Here is the scenario. There is 3 guys and 3 girls going. We plan on going to Jet on Friday and Marquee on Saturday. We are not really interested in getting bottles. Were going more for the dancing and having a good time, than the drinking (that's more reserved for pre-game). So here are my questions:

1. Is there a way around getting to pay for cover charges?

2. What is a good time to get to those two clubs to avoid long lines?

3. Is their liquor stores nearby the strip to get some alcohol to bring back to the room?

guestlist and get there early. girls will more than likely get in for free. as for the guys it all really depends on management and how busy the clubs are those nights.

3. Is their liquor stores nearby the strip to get some alcohol to bring back to the room?someone made a thread about this before if i can find it, i'll edit with link. I usually go the ABC near the NYNY

haven't been to jet in a while but of you are near or in mirage on friday night they'll probably be someone passing out passes trying to get you got go there. ladys probably free, guys pay discouted rate.

as for marquee good luck. your group has an even ratio so thats acceptable but if you could find like five more HOT women you might be better off. for general admission or guestlist you might want to go early, like 9:00pm and just linger around the door and try to be first in line. at 9:00pm no one will be there, at 10:30pm the place will be swarmed and whoever is not doing tables will be on the guestlist. Also, tell your bros to wear dress shoes. "expensive" nikes, etc. will get you guys kicked out of the line.

Everything all depends on if you take care of the host that checks/walks you in.

Also, a big name DJ that night or a big weekend (ie. MDW) may play a factor.

Usually they'll tell you. I've been told anywhere from 20-50 a guy to skip the line. That was because it was either A- extra crowded or B- I got there late.

But those VIP passes that they hand out on the streets or in the casinos do work as long as you get there early enough. Got into XS(Sunday) and Pure(when it was good) with no problem and no cover. Other times, I just paise reduced admission because it was a weekend.

Saturday is the biggest night for XS so passes won't work. If you don't want to wait in line, arrange a deal with the host and you will be in without any problems. There is no need to show up to a club at 9pm.

You are probably looking anywhere from $30-50 per guy and $20 per girl. It all depends on the night and who the DJ performing is....also cover can go up to $100+ too.

You are probably looking anywhere from $30-50 per guy and $20 per girl. It all depends on the night and who the DJ performing is....also cover can go up to $100+ too.
