  • Vdara pool?

Hi everyone, I have an upcoming trip we booked at the Vdara. Wondering if there is a pool scene there or if it's pretty quiet. Ironically, we are hoping for a quiet pool during the day, and save the festivities for later.

Any help is much appreciated! Thanks a ton.

BAJA, just got back from spending 5 days at Vdara. The rooms are amazing, and as for the pool scene. It's very quiet. It's not a party hotel. No casino. There were a few families there and just a varying age group just hanging out in the pool or hot tub.

The Vdara Death Ray was brought up as when the Sun was shining on Vdara it was reflecting lights on I believe the Bellagio pool, possibly also the Vdara pool that was causing people to get extra burnt.

          That might explain it.

            Ha Ha Ha! That's hilarious.

LongIsland, thanks a lot for the feedback, seems like exactly what we're looking for this time around.

One of my friends is getting married in a few months and plans to have his bachelor party there, so hopefully that will be a totally different dynamic and we'll pick a less "family oriented" hotel at that time.

Baja, I'd stay at Vdara even on a bachelor party trip if you could find a great rate. It's just a beautiful place to stay that is a 3 minute walk to Aria or Cosmopolitan. It can't be beat having your own suite. Have fun. It's about a 10 minute walk to CVS next to Crystals and Monte Carlo. I'd recommend stocking up some stuff from there for the fridge as opposed to paying the ridiculous prices at Market Vdara.

The picture of the melting plastic wrapping of the newspaper is really f*cked up.

Actually that's not a bad idea. Seems like a very central spot. None of the bachelor party are big on gambling anyway. Drinking and making stupid financial decisions, yes, gambling no.
