Hard time reaching Hosts

Hey Guys,

I don't mean to start any sort of conflict but I've been having trouble getting responses from a couple hosts. My group is coming in during the invasion and looking to book a couple vip services at clubs and pool parties. Unfortunately, we haven't been able to book anything or even price it out because we haven't gotten any responses from the hosts contacted.

I was wondering what sort of time frame will a host respond to you if your trip is a month out? Is a month too soon to book tables? Will hounding them be an annoyance or is it regular practice? Sould I contact multiple hosts at the same venue? I don't know if its an indicator of a something bad or just me trying to plan too much in advance or not doing enough work.

If you're emailing them I think it takes a lot longer. I've only dealt with Ryan Perrings at XS, but I had emailed him and didn't get a response, so about 3 days later I sent him a text and he called back within a couple hours. I think that's kind of the norm with most of the hosts. Not much help though if you've already tried that.

I had a similar response with Ryan. I emailed him and after a day or so with no response I texted him and he called me back after an hour or so. I used the contact info here

Txts are always quicker. Emails also tend to get forgotten easily especially if the trip is over a month away. Can start contacting hosts a month out to start dialogue, but pricing is fluid, more solid pricing about 2 weeks out. Feel free to contact different hosts too.

Maybe try a diff host?
Mikey Tantalo (Surrender/Blush/Encore) was really quick to respond-found him on here -contacted him, through email
and CJ Johnson is now at PH The Gallery- he is always quick to respond! Usually send a quick text and he will get right back

Text work best, email them with your number and they'll def. contact you one way or another.

Thomas Gorman for wet republic replied to me 3 times within a minute. Email first then text. Keep in mind that they are working so time it on hours when their club isn't open and not too early in the morning.

I've been told by a host booking a table more than one week is way too early. I've been recommended to book no more than 3 days in advance.

But, if you're trying to get pricing on bottles/minimum spend, just ask him/her directly.

But, I agree with most here that texting seems to be the best way.

Usually 3-4 weeks out for emailing. Texting the week of or before.

Update

Just wanted to let you know the tips in this thread really do help. I've had nothing but great success getting in touch with JC contacts especially ones on this forum like Janelle and Mikey T. If only I can hit it big and somehow gain the ability to imbide my weight in alcohol and still stand so I can go to these great places!
