Hey everyone, I'm moving from Indiana to Las Vegas for a new job. I'm going to be working a lot but I've been partying non-stop for 4 years in college and I don't feel like stopping. I don't know anyone in Vegas so I'm looking to meet some locals. Any advice on popular bars for locals would be great also. I can't wait to relocated. Its going to be great.

Locals have told me about some of the bars inside Town Square like Blue Martini. Also, PTs pubs are all over the place. Get a Nevada state ID as soon as you can. It may help you out in terms of getting into some places.FO SHO.Originally posted by redbullvodkayou're not ditching them, they're ditching you by not going.Originally posted by kimballYou want to be at the club where girls want to be... not where guys get good bottle deals.

Thanks, I'm really pumped for the move. My summer job sent me out to do some work last august and I fell in love with it. I worked and worked to get a job out there and its all coming together.
My work is paying for an apartment or house. I think I'm going to live in the spring valley area. Any good apartment areas I should push in that area?

we are building for a national health care provider. I can't really get into it to much right now. need to give it another month or so to get rolling. I don't want to let the cat out of the bag too soon. I can a friend who was a member at the foundation room. The night I went there it wasn't bad. It was a pretty relaxed club but a upscale looking crowd. For a grand a year do you think its a good idea to be a member?

No biggie man, just thought it was funny. Good for you moving to Vegas. And having a job lined up is tits. The unemployment in that state is retarded. Trust me I have attempted a few different times to make a move out there. Its god awful what this economy has done to the once never ending boomtown Vegas was.Originally posted by NewVegasLocal View Postha, i feel like an idiot. I've actually done quite a bit of research on the history of vegas and if you can take anything away from it all its that Las Vegas is a city that will come back strong. Being a tourist city it is prone to economic recessions but you can bet it will come back strong.
I'm interested to see what the new trend in Las Vegas will be. It has gone through stages where it catered to the extremely wealthy, the middle class, the lower middle class, and to families. Who knows where it will go now. I can't wait to see it evolving first hand.
