Extra charges for bottle service.

Okay me and 12 of my friends are coming to vegas may12 to the 15. I have set up bottle service for tao on fri and pure on sat cuz I know thats the only way we are getting in anywhere. For tao we got a table beach level for 3 bottles of goose/$1495. for pure a table on the terrace for 3 bottles of goose/$1500. I plan on tippin $100 to the host n 20% to the hostess plus 8% tax on each night. Does that sound right?? Do I have to worry about any suprise fees since I'm gonna get a bill at the end of the night?? Any help on this would be great. Thanks

i would go from a week prior to the day before. same day tends to not get you a very prime location unless you're throwing down a lot of money

So I've always wondered how much the tip affects your table placement. I usually don't "handshake" til we are situated at our table and sat down, thus he's not seeing his tip until we already have our table. Should I give him the handshake as soon as I see him?

I've noticed that there is always a period of time between meeting your host and when he walks you back to your table... That is the time to tip him...

IMO if you arrive somewhat early and give a $100+ handshake you will end up with a better table... If I am going to arrive late I'll try to prearrange the "handshake" so they will hold that "better" table...

man i am facing the same dilemma, heading out for clubs at 8:00pm even after buying $100 tickets, this is so dumb sigh, i have bought Afrojack tickets for Saturday MDW at XS, Marquee day club and night club tickets for Friday.

Three hours standing in line prior to the doors opening, is so retarded and annoying i feel. That means friday when i do the day club and the night club, i will be standing in line for a total of almost 6 hrs ..... just to get in?

oh well...

On the positive side, Afrojack puts on a sick show when he plays at XS.

$2k would be for doing BS. And if you have tickets, you'd need line up around 8pm to get inside the club by 10-10:30pm, tops. Otherwise, your tickets will be gone to waste.

no its wasnt, bottle serivce was $5k! u really think over MDW we need to be gettting to clubs for 8pm!?!? they dont open till 10-11pm, i could imagine needing to get there by say 9.30 but 8pm seems crazy early

You are trying to tell us you got quoted $500 per person just to get into XS? I think you need to check your email/text again dude. NOBODY charges $500 a head cover charge and XS would be empty minus those with tables that night.

thats exactly what i got quoted, from a well respsected XS host also! i messaged back and said is that a mistake, u sure u mean $2k just for us to get in? and his reply was basically "c'mon dude its MDW, prices get crazy!" i didnt both replying....i thought that was taking the piss! i presume we didnt have to queue for that price but still a joke!

That is seriously f*cked up. But, I wouldn't be surprised if a place would try to charge that.

For that price, I'd rather go with the all-weekend passes at some places.

there's so many tickets available for diff clubs and pool parties this weekend, but do they actually get you in, providing you turn up at a sensible time?? ive bought $100 tickets for Tiesto @ Wet Rep. but it says nothing about what time to get there for or anything. would b seriously f*cked off if i got there and they didnt let me in after dropping $100!

This is exactly why I skip MDW. I'm going to mAyOD and my friend wants me to come to MDW? I will say it here: I've been told by locals to avoid MDW because the prices are outrageous.
