That's a great deal for a Venetian Bella - I'd book it now.

You can always try the $20 trick at check-in to try to get upgraded to Palazzo with a Strip View.

Yeah thats a good price for the Venetian and the best location for the hotels you listed. I stayed at the Venetian for the 1st time in August and thought it was very nice.

How far of a walk is the palazzo from the venetian? Is it that much nicer? Just figured would be better to be closer to tao/tao beach.. Let me know

Go with the Venetian. The Venetian and Pallazo (two of my favorite Vegas hotels) are sister properties connected by a mall, of sorts, with shops and restaurants. Tao Beach is right outside at the Venetian pool complex & Tao nightclub is on the second level of the Venetian, just above the poker room. Again, go with the Venetian, that's a good deal!!

Ok, another option came up: the Hotel at Mandalay Bay, 725 sq ft suite for $403
                OR
                Stick with Venetian at $491?

I've never even set foot inside the Hotel, so I know nothing about it, but I've stayed at Venetian before and know it's top notch. Thoughts?

I'd stick with the Venetian. Can't beat the location. Mandalay is nice but it's far. You'll spend money on cabs and time sitting in traffic when you can walk some places from the Venetian

Palazzo and Venetian aren't that different. The price difference isn't worth it

+1, the cab money over a few days will easily make up the difference. More stuff going on around Venetian too

I like the Venetian but TheHotel at Mandalay Bay is where I stay alot and I think it is a superior room compared to the Venetian. What I do is take the free monrail from Mandalay Bay to excaliber and walk to MGM Grand and use the monorail to go up and down the strip. I get a 3 day pass for 27 bucks and that is unlimited use for 3 days. I guess I am never in a hurry in Vegas just walk casino to casino and hit up bars lol.

Venetian. No question. Palazzo is next door (a 5-10 minute walk through a mall). Wynn and Encore are a 10-15 minute walk.

Venetian absolutely trumps Mandalay Bay - Location aside, it's still not even close.

Thanks guys! I already know Venetian is tops, but wanted to do some comparisson shopping. That is where we will be stationed in July and doing most of our partying between there/Palazzo and the Wynn/Encore properties.
